Anyone got any companion eggs? (Creative mode) If you play on PC, there is a hack to save inventory (and other progress) but switch modes. If you use that you can give me the companion eggs and I’ll give you 1mil units worth of Magno Gold, and if you use the trick once more, you should keep the Magno Gold

You can't use your creative save file, expeditions is a separate game mode (like normal, survival, etc)

All players have to start a brand new save

if none of your friends are online it allows you to make a new session from the multiplayer menu
if any of your friends are online, you can join them from there (unless they are appearing as offline)
if you don't want to join them, selecting "Play Game" will also host a session

you can add someone in NMS by getting their friend code and typing it in, it shows in the Network option and in the Multiplayer tab in the menu

when you join someone's multiplayer session, you will play in their star system, your quests will moved to their star system also ( which imo is pretty dumb ), your progress will still go on, but ur position won't save

when you go back to singleplayer, you'll be back where u were before joining ur friend, progress is still there dont worry

when you join them again, you'll be back where u last were in their star system

Well technologies are really important early game and you need A LOT of salvaged data to unlock technologies + it's a pain in the ass to farm in the early game without any exocraft / movement upgrade.

Curiosity. Explore, farm, collect what you can. See what's worth and what is not. Don't rush / farm to get some ship or MT, you'll have plenty of time to find one when you're a bit richer and farther in the game.

attack freighter cargo pods and don't shot the cargo pods that are hovering near the freighter since that will lower your standing

Selling any item for its market price converted to activated indium or tainted metal (for upgrades and nanite items).

Can also convert between the two currencies (10 AI to 1 TM) if anyone is interested.
