You buy the exocraft platforms from there. Then once you build them at any of your base, the game registers you "own" that type of exocraft

On my second playthrough I put purchases to free and just bought everything at the anomaly

it is hard to land the corvette, especially if very big, it may be wise to add the water landing module, or flatten a large area, adding some of the lighting around it like a real airport

in game units - you need to do this - keep digging up the salvageable scraps (the gray ones) for the currency to buy new base modules

each of those things you dig give millions of units

You cannot acquire blueprints for the aeron parts unless you rerun old expedition for it, you can get the part and duplicated to have enough, some ppl gift them a lot, not sure the price ppl around here are really helpful to one an other and they give it away you just have to catch them or wait for a respond

You can try the "nms service bot", though they recently changed the website so I'm not sure how reliable it is in unlocking expedition completion any more.

Yeah, well, the newly updated nms service bot webpage no longer allows you to pick "expedition X completion" as an unlock, instead you pick the individual rewards, and then you have to hope that the only way to unlock that is for the bot to unlock the expedition completion. I can't get the organic frigate to unlock permanently on my save, because the only way now to get it through the service bot doesn't mark the expedition as completed, it uses one of the other expedition phases or milestones instead to give you the frigate. The difference is between getting the frigate on your current save vs. marking the expedition as completed so you can get it on any save.

And I have already unlocked most of the other rewards, so I can't vouch for what works or what doesn't any more.

All I know is that I can't get the organic frigate to unlock permanently. It is now a once-per-save unlock.

Yes, which is how it used to be only a few weeks ago. But now the bot request page lists all the individual rewards, and at least for this particular reward, picks a way to complete it that doesn't mark the expedition as completed.

It used to be that I could pick "Expedition 14 completion" as an unlock. But now I can only pick individual reward items.

I have spoken about this on the discord server of the nms service bot, and I have not gotten a reply that indicates that there is any kind of fault in this, so currently I'm seeing this as an enshittification of the nms service bot. Make it so that players have to spend more requests getting the things they want. I will happily retract and apologize my statements if they show otherwise, but given that I've been complaining about this for a few weeks, I don't think that will happen.

It is highly recommended that you progress until you get to the anomaly before grouping with other players. Bugs-out the missions.

Most of the corvette parts can be obtained by digging them up, or trading basic ones for higher tier stuff. The expedition only added a few Aeron parts. Not needed to make amazing ships.

I didn't really know what it was at the time and I was locked in on my first character

I had already started and then I seen there was an expedition and I clicked on it and it made me like start a new character and I didn't know what was going on I was like I don't want to start a new character

Do the good ol Skyrim method, try to thin your quest log, and whilst it may be redundant, it gets motivation to do things. And then if you get bored of doing that, just pick a random system and warp, explore and start getting an idea of how you want to play. Its a massive sandbox
