Not many atlas options really, just the quad from an expedition and Laylaps, which isn't really a pet.

There's an autophage head, robo warden and mecha mouse from other expeditions, but the only regular robotic creatures are the walking buildings and antelopes.

I only have a few of the last 2 and the construct head, I accidentally dyed the head black tho somehow.

it is, I have runaway mould farm that will net you quite a lot of nanites in short order, but unfortunately I dismantled the bases I used for stasis devices, since they were built in a colony I was previously a member of and left, and I hit unit cap so I didn't really need them

In short, I can help out with runaway mould, but you'll have to refine it into nanites yourself

Try on #nms-legacy-ships they should be able to help

To get the pirate dreadnaught, you have to already have a freighter. Then, when you think you have a freighter rescue missions coming up, save the game. WArp into a pirate system. Take out the engines of the dreadnaught, then it can't warp away. Then, go topside, and take out all the big cannons. At that point they surrender and you can board and find out the class.

While I know it's possible for a player to set permissions that other players, friends or group members, can make additions to bases, I'm not sure that a player can alter another player's corvette.

Maybe if you land the corvette at your base, and give base editing permissions?

No, that wouldn't work as you need to have the ship in a corvette workshop, on a station. I think the best course of action would be to add a mod that allows you to add base parts to your ship.

That is how this game works. The only people who can share a game, are those who have added each others' codes. You can group with someone you meet in game, but the only way to find friends is to use codes, or planet glyphs.

In my testing its a waste of a slot. Upgrades only yield a percentage of the base damage. Upgrading the tech only minutely increases that base percentage. Doing the tech itself almost doubles the base damage output before the percentages hit, thus making significantly more impactful. Even base tech w/ upgrades is a waste when you can supercharge 4 different techs for a better all around boost.

So like my Pheonix i kinda lied, it dumps 80k, my agility is over 2k, hyperdrive is over 3k, it makes way more sense instead of having diminishing returns in 1 stat

Not necessarily it well varies on the tech you used, there are god likes tech mods now in days out there with the % require to maximize technology thus putting those upgrades in supercharge slots easly doubles or triples the amount of the item ex. My multitool is 4 slots super charge used to had 4 different gun tech on it only giving me about 40k output damage, after finding good tech upgrades of the same weapon it boosted my multitool to 116k damage so putting upgrades in supercharge slots does multiply your output damage as long you used the right stuff

Not impossible simple takes a lot of opening tech packs to find the highest damage mods

I have all god rolls on the ship. I think tech in exosuits, multi-tool and ship behave differently. Because exosuit i have God rolls in jetpack and all maxed out, and its way better than just tech. I'm specifically talking ship though

It's been a weird discovery. I spent about 3 months revamping all my tech, buying and opening upgrades and even down to the actual placement of tiles. Some upgrades boost better next to each other than others

For instance my hyperdrive range can only go down. If I move a single slot any other way than it is it'll take out about 240ly

one option you might like is to shift it to "relaxed". then you'd get more resources while mining, be able to survive in hostile environments longer, etc... this is great if you want to collect/build up everything yourself but just want to do things faster

another option is to do something like enable free crafting to build some things (like building a nicer base), and then put it back to standard after you have a start. same idea for free purchases -- like adding slots to a ship or multitool at the start
