It's usually recommended that you progress in the game at least until you reach the anomaly, before grouping with other players. It can but out some of your needed quests. YOu can get in a channel and talk with them, though.

Alrighty. You're going to scan for a yellow wifi looking symbol. Similar to the one for Salvage Data, only yellow. Uncover the canisters with your terrain manipulator then pop the cans win your mining laser. (I use two multitools with each mode selected, so I don't have to cycle through weapons) Once the cans are opened, you get 2-4 corvette parts. Thousands of cans per planet.

@meager coral what is different about your nms community that I would join yours when I'm already in like 3 or 4 really good nms servers?

depends in which servers you are, there few of which for now would totaly will be better than mine, cuz of amount of guys and that they active for at least 1-2 years, then DGE is only 3 month, if you would compare DGE and Indominus Legion, of course them would be better, but if would we compare similar systems like ours and community where a couple more people there, then we are more simply for the number of mechanics, if I can call it that. We have a system for colonizing systems,of course, it is not perfect, but it is clearly better than 70 percent of those I have seen)everyone who uploads their colonized systems, they upload them according to a certain set of rules, there is also a section on how to determine what economy a system has and how to sign one or another, I also have 3 construction employees who build various structures for DGE on our colonized paradise planets, mainly, of course, more than half of the systems on the server are not finalized, but everything is in progress.

I'm not forcing anyone to join mine community.

While I would recommend having someone to talk to throughout the ordeal of expedition 21, I would recommend you disable multiplayer when doing it, as there are several issues with things that needs to be discovered that are problematic when in multiplayer.
