@brittle nexus first try this keep sending your ships on missions, next put a mission board in your corvette for new missions, next goto the mission board at any space station - but wait on the last part keep going to space stations to find same exact mission, they stack if you had 10 of the same mission you only have to do it once

They're likely talking about the sandworm. It's an expedition exclusive reward. It also happens to be slow, small and ugly. You can easily find eggs for far better ones made by other players.
