Quite alright. If there is something in particuly that you need assistance with, just ask. I'm way-end-game, so I don't really spend a lot of time playing, anymore. Not a lot of challenges. If you're looking to group, it's usually suggested that you wait until you reach the anomaly, in your questline. Otherwise it could mess up your progression.

You have to do a goob bit of the story line to be able to unlock the mission for the staff building for other tools all you need to do its either do the portal quest to unlock it or have some one take you there

No when you are in another persons ship, it's still a slightly different dimension

Some examples are like when I come join your game - the landmasses are often different, there may be a crator wherre you have a landmass at same location, it's not a perfect sync, you fly in another corvette those creatures may not exist at all

using a portal would probably be a similar situation. Each persons perspective of the galaxy loads slightly different. You have to get a joiner that has no syncing difference, it's kinda complex, it's sorta like if you ever joined a persons game, went to their base, and you appeared under ground

It will still be the same planet, your base will still be there but there will be slightly to massive changes betweeen the two of you

Then there's the problem of syncing with a moving sprite as you suggest. That sprite may not even appear in player 2's universe, or it might, game mechanics are weird

here's an example when I joined another person yesterday The player did not see it this way but I did

because each of our sides render things differently

This is also why it is wise to always build your base above all plants and animals not on top of them, for when other people join, the sprites often do not merge, or render, correctly

There are TitanWorms you can interact with, specifically stemming from an older expedition. You just cant fly up to any of the wild ones because theyre considered untameable. They're only obtainable through other people's generosity. I have 5 totally different looking breeds. Im going to bed, goodluck 🫡👌🏼

If you go to the anomaly, you can go directly to where people have built cool bases for others to see. The surrounding area often is full of people who have settled down, but I don’t know if that’s a considerate thing to do or not

there are mutliple ways of exiting a corvette by the gear menu like (i forget exact command) like "Emergency warp, auto pilot, and so on

try each one till it fixes the issue
