Fabricated ships are put simply just a skin on a random seed, so once traded that skin is removed.

Fabricated ships are ships made with the starship fabricator in a space station, the iron vulture even if claimed from the quicksilver synthesis companion will be fabricated.

Use the Expedition Reward Unlocker function, which will bring up a menu to exchange your current ship for the Boundary Herald or The Wraith (set your current ship to one that you are okay with exchanging away)

That’s what I mean tho, any fabricated ship cannot be traded, Fabricated ships are put simply just a skin on a random seed, so once traded that skin is removed once the player claims the ship and makes any reload.

The iron vulture regardless of if it was claimed from the expedition or made in the fabricator, cannot be traded.

It’s helpful for min/maxing with X class, applying that we know when installing upgrade modules the stats are rolled off a seed value, everytime a tech module is installed it will change that seed value.

This then gets used for the next module installed, if we reloaded to prior we installed that module. Installing a new one would produce the same seed.
