I don't think you can trade ships now , it randomizes the ships. If you know a way please let me know to sate my curiosity

You can't trade money , only items. And you don't need to spend 600m for a frigate module , you can easily get it yourself for free by sending your frigates on expeditions , raiding crashed freighters , or shooting NPC freighter's cargo pods.

Even before the update you could summon it , it wasn't something which was broken in the recent updates. You might have been calling it near a planet / space station. You need to be a certain distance away to be able to summon it

You can trade all ships. Its just the S class ones which are guaranteed to stay the same except the stats.

Although this is a conversation best suited for #nms-questions , but are you trying to talk to NPC to increase your standing ? If so , you need to choose the first option to learn a random word , then talk to the same NPC and choose the second option to practice words with them , and select words which best suit their culture , you might get a standing increase/decrease depending on if they're happy to listen to that word , or you might even get an S class upgrade. And also occasionally , a punch to the chest which hurts a lot 🤣
