Could take a long process to do but so far it's been the best for me but
You could try going to space stations that spawn Exotic ships, buying them and then scraping them for storage augmentations, they give around like 1 to 4 I think, if you are missing units for that you could always go Interceptor ship hunting and then selling them

Pirate dreadnought or sentinel?
For pirate dreadnought:
• They should spawn every 3 jumps between a system with 3 star conflict or pirate controlled
• You won’t have to worry about missing pirate dreadnought battles because they spawn in front of you when you warp
• I think an S class pirate dreadnought has a 2% - 0.5% chance of spawning, so very rare
for sentinel dreadnoughts:
• they have a chance of spawning in a battle with pirate dreadnoughts
• they can also randomly spawn when you exit pulse drive in a system (very tedious way of getting them tho, wouldn’t recommend)
You can also look on Reddit for some locations too, i recommend doing that method as it’s the easiest and fastest

In game chat is global i.e. everyone in system, even if not in group can see it. Only pc players can also only use the in game text chat system. Console players are stuck with voice comms even if they have keyboard plugged in.

Pirate dreadnought battles are not dependent on jumps as you have stated, the only criteria there is, that you must already own a freighter, you must have completed at least 2 regular freighter battles. Dreadnought battles can spawn at any time in outlaw or high conflict space.

they do, just not very often and it’s really rare to get a good freighter to spawn out of that

Oh to get those its really easy, just go in third person while being in the starship and slowly hunt down where the Dissonance Deflectors are, if you see a Quadraped take him down with the Rocket launcher, hyperdrive to lose the heat and repeat, if you dont find one, keep looking and only attack the ones that have one
