Haven't looked that far into it, but I'm sure nexus mods probably has something. Basically modify your save game to give you anything you want/need and alter certain aspects. Used one for another game to help people out before.

My other suggestion would not be to utilise it just for giving players items, while the gesture and reason is nice that’s where it ends, in reality it can ruin a player’s experience or cause annoyance and more work for a player, while items can be deleted let’s not entertain behaviour that already isn’t generally accepted.

Not to mention there are some items that players give out in abundance that simply don’t have a function because A they used the save editor wrong or B misunderstood the item due to lack of knowledge, these can cause more issues later down the line. And that’s just a part of it.

You can also get exo suit upgrades from a space anomaly and a space station

One from each, but you can get 2 from each system by going to both structures

it'll require some credits though

It's pretty much as you'd expect. Everyone still can do/does their own things, you can share resources (give your party/friends items.), build on the same or separate planets, and explore together
