I have one from back in the day. It may be trickier with the ship trading mechanic messed up the way it is, but it's still doable, by accident at least. I saw someone who inadvertantly did it with an Interceptor a few weeks back.

Yeah, when they were griefing from phantom systems and killing folks in the Anomaly... Basically, if you can cause a ship reskinning glitch between ships with incompatible tech, then you have it done. It works with Interceptors now because of the Sentinel Cannon.

Trading ships (when and if it works these days) will reroll the ship, so that's out. You have to be in multiplayer with someone, and during a sship transaction, get into the wrong ship. Kind of a hassle, plus after its done, you have to reinstall your guns every time. The DMG output is definitely impresssive, but also kind of overkill.

It wouldn't work. I've heard it'll switch to a local system ship. Your best bet is to just get the coords for a new one and go get it for 10k nanites.

I max out at 6.3MB/s (50Mbps line), the 100, 300, 500 etc.... is not that much more expensive. But I only require speed when I do game updates or downloads, otherwise it works great for streams (Youtube / Series / Movies).

Basically about 15Mbps slower than your connection. I normally measure download speed in MB/s. So your 70.2 is about 8.7MB/s. Does not matter really, people go by what they prefer and so on.

Hi guys, haven't played since the Alien Starship update, like 2019 on Xbox I think, long story short;
I wan't to transfer as much as possible from my old Xbox character to my new PC character since there's no crossprogression.

What is everything that's possible to transfer to another player?

-I remember you could transfer ships through a glitch of sorts, though I believe the method has changed, so I know I can do that.
-Don't remember if you can transfer Units.
-Can you give other players your gear and armor upgrades, guns?
-And if anything else, what else?

Also, could this stunlock my character's quests? I remember when the game came out there was a big bug cause a quest would ask you build something for your ship, but it already had it. Will quests now autocomplete if it sees I already have any upgrades it asks of me?

Ships: not really only special ships (like expedition), units no, gear etc no, only items can be transferred

what is everything that is posy for a player to transfer?

Anything that is a Physical item, like carbon, pet eggs ect, but not packaged tech.

I remember you could transfer ships through a glitch.

Correct we used to be able to do that, however most ships it will not work the way you want which is transferring tech, stats, ship model ect, the only ships you can transfer model is unique ships like the golden vector, Utopia speeder ect.

Can’t transfer currency directly, you would need to transfer items that could sell or refine for that currency.

can you give other players your gear and armour upgrades, guns?

No, these are not physical items you can transfer, you would need to save edit for them, grind for them or my first suggestion just transfer the save.

Anything else?

Really physical items are about it, progress related, multitools and ships you will need a save editor or just go get similar or the same items again.

Also, are exotic ships transferable? At least I think my ship was exotic, it was my favorite ship from all the ones I found, a player had essentially made me a millionaire by giving me a material that was worth quite a bit to sell and I just started collecting ships, plus hunting down my Star Destroyer. Across my travels I saw a ship similar to this model https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/nomanssky_gamepedia/images/c/c3/Exotic_Class.png/revision/latest?cb=20170827155012, though I can't find a picture of my specific model. It was similar but with bigger fins, and one on top, and it was silver with bird like etchings on it.
