General advice is to engage in MP when you reach the anomaly and keep story missions in solo, multiplayer can cause bugs that prevent you from progressing the story easily, so if you do end up doing them in multiplayer just keep in mind any bugs you encounter may be due to multiplayer.

If you do get any issues while playing MP Just exit the session and save and reload then the mission should fix itself, complete that part in solo.

The "Starborn Runner" is a reward from the most recent expedition. This expedition is no longer available. You may have some luck with a person selling it to an NPC pilot, then you buying it back from that NPC. Since I don't know how it works, I'm hesitant to attempt it. You could also wait until they recycle the expedition, which they seem to like doing at the end of each year.

As Julian said, the class is always random, but if you create a hard save with a save beacon (not just getting out of your ship) before warping into the system with a freighter you like the look of, you can reload that save and try again until it spawns as an S class

It usually takes 10-30 tries (at least in my experience)
