after that click on an option that says "locate local dissonance spike" and that is where you'll find the ship

257 Yils no longer exists. The last Galaxy you can jump to is 255, and you can catch a ride to Ody256, which isn't hard. Lots of folks have bases in 256. StarCabs could help you out with that as well.

But you play on Switch, so no MultiPlayer would be an issue. Also, they messed up the mechanic so that basic ships revert to a sytem ships except for certain instances. Also, if the trade worked, the ship would be rerolled and lose all upgrades and Tech

ship trading as a whole works however since echoes it no longer works in the way players may hope it to work. But there are some exceptions.

we can sorta trade ships that are a unique ship like the Utopia speeder, switch ship, golden vector and starborn runner. As they are different ship scene files so won’t get affected by the seed changing like how other ships do. The game gives them the seed value of 0x1.

Tho for any other ship the seed will reroll meaning everything will change including the design (design will match ship type in that system) you still get a ship but it may not match the one owner of the original came in with.

This being said of course there are ways to exploit it and possibly get the same ship but doing that you might aswell get the player to just give you the glyphs to the ships system.

In the current case that is being discussed, the switch exclusive can be traded as stated above. Just because it can does not mean every other ship in the game can.

No, 257 is not a unique individual galaxy, the misinformation stemmed from pre atlas rises when a player core jumped in galaxy 256 odyalutai, there was no loop back to Euclid at that time, and there was no next galaxy to be sent to, the fallout from this was that the game would start triggering the galaxy procnaming algorithm, displaying a different name and shifting the Core colour while the player remained in Odyalutai. Galaxy 257 doesnt exist - galaxies 256-b through 256-infinity are all Odyalutai. Whatever changes are made in any of these non-galaxies will hold true in all of them, as they are all just Odyalutai.

That is correct, but if you have a freighter you'll always have it as a fleet vessel, unless you send it on expedition missions ofc

It will always be visible to you when you're around your freighter

If you don't have a freighter... hopefully you'll be able to get a pirate freighter through beating it in battle

Yes that’s how it’s done but the other player must claim it quick because as soon as you sell to NPC he leaves the station

Platform doesn’t really matter as the game is cross play but it can make it easier for players on the same platform and in the event there are updates that cause miss match that also helps

Sweet I will be running the expedition again tomorrow so I am happy to give ya the items you need for the liquid explosive.

However just so you are aware you can go to a trade outpost and interact with pilots that land, these pilots will have resources such as fungal mould and cactus flesh for sale (not always guaranteed that it will be those specifically) but definitely saves time making a farm.

Another alternative to a just go to player bases, it is highly likely there will be a base that either specifically has those items grown or just any player base may have them as players tend to think that is the requirement to get them.

You can also always just go to a planet that has those resources on them.

Fungal mould is in toxic planets, scan for a plant called Fungal Clusters, for cactus flesh go to a desert planet and scan for plants called Echinocactus. You’ll need a hazard gauntlet.

Can you trade ships?

“ship trading” neither a yes or no because it depends on what you are trying to do, the ship you use and the outcome you want, but I’ll break it down, since echoes it no longer works in the way players may hope it to work. But there are some exceptions.

we can trade ships that are a unique ship like the Utopia speeder, switch ship, golden vector and starborn runner. As they are different ship scene files so won’t get affected by the seed changing like how other ships do. The game gives them the seed value of 0x1. However like normal class, stats and installed tech will reroll and won’t be the same as the what the original player installed.

Tho for any other ship the seed will reroll meaning everything will change including the design (type of the ship will match ship type in that system) you still get a ship but it may not match the one owner of the originally came in with.

This being said of course there are ways to exploit it and possibly get the same ship but doing that you might aswell get the player to just give you the glyphs to the ships system.
