When you run thru a derelict, the last room will be Engineering. It'll have a terminal that will offer you 3 options: some nanites (i think), 1 Freighter Bulkhead, or an upgrade. The upgrades can be C-S and for HyperDrive Range, Mining, Trade, Explorer, Combat, Fuel Consumption, or Expedition Speed.

Oh Yeah. Whats nice is that there's only 1 derelict per system, and if it drops S Class. it always drops S Class. Very farmable

Just keep in mind matey that seed will change, so you may find that you will have more influence over what models you get by utilising the coordinates system and going to get a specific design yourself.

Utilise the service bot, and the bots associated discord server and you can have one delivered to you, use the server to locate a seed for the ship you want delivered. Otherwise it may take you a lengthy time until someone actually will trade you a ship.

Just purchase, get in your fighter and back out to make a hard save point. Then "reload last save point." When you do that, he has all those to sell again and you don't have to wait for them to respawn for purchase.

but yes we can sorta trade ships, atm the only ships that work when trading a specific design is unique ships like the Utopia speeder, switch ship, golden vector and starborn runner.

Tho for any other ship the seed will reroll meaning everything will change including the design (design will match ship type in that system) you still get a ship but not the one the original owner came in with.

no once traded the ship rerolls, any installed tech, upgrades ect will reroll.

Modules no, class and general slot count are what affect ship prices, slots much more heavily weighted than class.

we can sorta trade ships that are a unique ship like the Utopia speeder, switch ship, golden vector and starborn runner. As the seed value is unique.

Tho for any other ship the seed will reroll meaning everything will change including the design (design will match ship type in that system) you still get a ship but not the one the original owner came in with.

If no one answers consider completing it yourself. The components needed to make it are acid and unstable gel, the components needed to make those (Cactus flesh, mordite and fungal mould) can all be bought from NPC that land at trade outposts, just keep checking each landing pilot until you get the components. Alternatively look for planets that would contain cactus flesh and fungal mould, mordite from killing animals.

Once you activated pulse drive you will usually find one within a few minutes. The key is to ignore all encounters other than whale sound. Once you use the detector you will get a new encounter ever 20-30 seconds. If you do not get a whale song after 5 minutes move on to a different system.

Every system has one living frigate. If you find one and you don't like it, move to the next system. If you recruit the frigate you can not recruit it again.

Find a monolith on any planet (if you have an exocraft vehicle with an improved scanner, this is done through it), answer the monolith’s question correctly and then a dialogue about finding a portal will become available to you
You will only need an item from the race that predominates in the system

A unique race item can be purchased on any freighter or you can just find it on the planet

Not the most difficult process tho

I just, from your level, don't recommend it. You will have an S tier ship but that is probably it. No upgrade sacs, no inventory sacs, youd also need to source the materials for the components.

If you still want to go ahead with the trade, sure, I'll do you the favor. But I still stand by my advice.

you can easily get it yourself, just grind quicksilver at anomaly...

just know the first egg is always hell to do

you'll have to wait 20+ hours for the components to mature, and on top of that near the end of the starbirth quest you'll need to have all your glyphs (which is easily obtained through the main storyline) so you can go through a portal to get stuff

after the first egg though you won't need to repeat it

you just grab an egg, initiate the quest, then find the ship and pay 10k nanites

to get quicksilver go to the anomaly and go to the Nexus terminal, there it'll have missions you can do, one being for 400 quicksilver
