Ultimately, the planet that you landed on is not suitable for human life, but if you can manage long enough off of the supplies that were sent off with you, you can use the planet you're stranded on as a starting point to find a habitable planet for Humanity - possibly, even a capital, for a new, galactic empire. It is unclear if any of the other groups survived their travel through space, as they were all shot towards different planets. This idea is primarily centered around planet colonization, but if we plan on making a galactic empire, it can become a balance between space and planetside. This has the potential to be EXTREMELY long-term.

I think recruitment for a group and looking for a group are mostly similar things. We all are trying to get the best game experience out of NMS looking for a team mate to join our own adventures or trying to give a good and funny experience to other players with a community. As long as recruit messages do not get too much annoying or tedious to become like spam for example it should be alright. A message every 6 to 10h looks fine to me imo 🙂

As trading ships is impossible now, what you ask would be impossible to do. The only way would be a crashed sentinel ship that is S Class. Even if I found an S class non crashed ship, it may not be s class for you. As far as exotics go, even if I found 1 and stood on top of it to stop it taking off, as soon as you enter system, it would take off.

From what I heard getting living ship before finishing the mission may cause many problems with your game

You can not recruit a living frigate if your fleet already has 30 frigates.
You can only recruit a living frigate once per system.

With Dream Aerial (Required for your first)

To obtain your first organic frigate, send out fleet expeditions until you receive a blueprint for the Dream Aerial. Craft the Dream Aerial (1 Solar Mirror and 3 Living Glass) and pulse drive in space with your ship. You will get an encounter with an organic frigate that asks many questions to determine the stats of the frigate. After you finish the questions, claim the living frigate.

Using the Dream Aerial randomizes class, which is otherwise fixed per system.
The Dream Aerial is only used this first time, and now should be discarded as it cannot be used by anyone.

With Anomaly Detectors

After acquiring your first organic frigate, you may now use Anomaly Detectors to acquire more. These are rare drops from blowing up asteroids.

Activate pulse drive (as stated above, use an Anomaly detector before doing so). Keep your pulse drive fueled as this may take some time depending on the system. While pulsing you may see alerts for rare objects or traders, ignore them. The Anomaly detector will be consumed if you exit pulse. Continue pulsing until you receive a Whalesong signal to discover a living frigate with these price ranges:

C-Class: 7,500,000 - 12,500,000 units.
B-Class: 15,000,000 - 25,000,000 units.
A-Class: 26,250,000 - 43,750,000 units.
S-Class: 37,500,000 - 62,500,000 units.

Known Issues:

• If you have a void egg in any of your inventories, its space encounter will keep spamming you, and can prevent you from getting the Whalesong signal encounter. To workaround this bug, retrieve the egg and store it in your suit, then go to space, pulse until hailed by the alien mothership, and select Hatch on the dialog. Ignore the Starbirth mission marker, you can now select any different mission, and return to using anomaly detectors.
• If you begin to notice any odd graphical glitches, stop and pulse in the opposite direction.
  
  Additional Info
  Feeding food to an organic frigate (freighter fleet management terminal > click on an organic frigate), will change its stats. Anything you feed a specific frigate should always reproduce that same result.
  For example:
  Feeding your frigate item A yields one result. Feeding it item B yields another. If you feed it item A again, it will be the same result you got the first time you fed it item A.

• Always S class;
• Base stats feature good damage and hyperdrive range, but low shields and maneveurability.
• Cannot install non-Living Ship tech, except figurines and starship trails.
• Can warp to any star system without any hyperdrive upgrades.
• Repair kits can be used to fix damaged technologies and upgrade mods. Just like with other ships, base core tech is immune to any damage sources. The player is also able to store installed tech/upgrade modules temporarily to protect them from any damage sources.
  
  Ship systems can be recharged with materials and/or food items:
  - Singularity Core (Hyperdrive): Chromatic Metal, Processed Meat
  - Pulsing Heart (Pulse engine): Silver, Carbon, Viscous Fluids
  - Neural Assembly (Launch thrusters): Oxygen, Mordite, Condensed Carbon
  - Scream Suppressor (Shield): Pugneum, Mordite, Di-hydrogen
  
• Living Ships always start with 36 cargo, and 30 tech slots. They can be upgraded up to 120 cargo slots, and 60 tech slots.
• Spawning Sacs are used to upgrade storage, and pre-built Living Ship tech (e.g Wormhole Brain) can drop from Psychonic Eggs. Spawning Sacs and Psychonic Eggs are randomly obtained from fleet expeditions that had at least 1 organic frigate in its composition.
  
  Upgrade modules can be looted from both Psychonic and Melody Eggs. The Melody Egg is a destroyable object, that can spawn as a deep space encounter, after pulsing a certain amount of time with a Living Ship.
  It's suggested to focus searching in uncharted systems, the systems that no race (korvax, vykeen or gek) controls, i.e. don't have a space station.

Installed [C,B,A] class upgrade mods can be evolved with nanites.
Rerolling stats can be done by saving/evolving mod A, checking stats/reloading/evolving mod A again as many times as needed/desired.

If it doesn't work just look around for small asteroids

You need to find a dissonant planet, you basically need to go through process of claiming a crashed interceptor but without claiming a ship in the end

After you destroy a walker it will expload and leave some parts behind

One of them will be glowing, you need to get close to it and interact with it or shoot it until ot breaks
That's how you get a brain

Walker brain is a guaranteed drop

Everything is explained to you in mission log and a hint that appears in lower right corner of the screen
No advanced skill or knowledge is required and if you run into a problem that you cannot solve you can always ask in #nms-expedition

To complete the full experience it takes about 3-7Hrs max but that’s from what I think it takes worth doing it :))

OK, I would advise you to play solo until you get to Space Anomaly ( it a big space station that you can summon, there are npc like Nada and Polo there and it serves as multiplayer hub) after that it will open some more options for you

Part of the game before Space Anomaly can be treated like a very basic tutorial

You will get some of the more important tech and will learn how to use them
