Yep, because when you hand it to an NPC, the seed swaps.... but not the type of ship, so the procname and stats will be from a Fighter belonging to the system, but the model cant change

Yeah, HG disabled ship trading by having ships exchanged to NPCs convert to native ships by forcing the 1st seed for the ship type in system list onto the exchanged ship.... but the 3 unique ships are Fighters with unique models, so that seed swap doesnt alter them cosmetically.

wait wait wait i dont understand it fully, i know that every system has its own set pair of ships
but when you trade your ship for an npcs ship the npc teleports away from the ship he traded to you and next to the ship that you gave him, and thats the perfect moment for the player you wanted to trade the ship to originally to interact with the npc to get your former ship

Apart from the golden vector, switch ship and utopia speeder ship trading no longer works when trading a specific design, you are better off looking in various coordinates sharing communities and in #nms-legacy-ships for designs you like.

When you Join someone’s game and get into their game do you immediately leave and by you I mean do you leave the session then attempt to save?

Ultimate goal is to remove the “position not saved in mp”

Just bear in mind ship trading has been broken since echoes, it now causes desync where the traded ship will change to a seed value of that system.

The only ships still working is the GV, Utopia speeder and switch ship.

It sounds to me like you may have screwed yourself by building an overly complex base or something, if so, its not your save thats broken, the game could be loading fine and its the attempt to render your base actually causing the crash.

Mm' it's kind of interesting how the building system works - it's very basic and straightforward but doesn't really give a lot of wiggle room for creativity.

Thats partly the community's fault - glitch building is its own entire build discipline, and then there's those who use CAD, so HG hasnt been particularly pressured to overhaul that part of the game recently

I just ran a few missions with a random. It was pretty good actually even though I don't know how to communicate.

We killed sentinels while hacking some pillar,
Got 20 storm crystals
And I forgot the other mission, but it was pretty prosperous.
Basically got a couple of planets fauna scanned almost all the way. I set up base on the storm crystals planet I could maybe make a solid 20 mil while searching for that last rare fauna
