Yeah, you only find the quads on the normal planets without purple corruption, so they aren't encountered a lot if you're focusing on the new content

If you go to an autophage camp or any of the outposts taken over by the swarm, you should get living slime from the console there or from the carts at the camp. Refine that and you'll get your mold.

Yeah. Any of that organic matter you can pull from stuff, you can refine that and if you don't get the mold, you can continue to refine it further until you do. The mold is the last stage before it refines into nanites.

Attack a space station. Then when the sentinels go to attack you, fight them off until a sentinel freighter appears. Destroy the freighter and you'll get an item that will show you the nearest crashed sentinel ship. When you go to it you'll get a hyaline brain, you'll then need to go to an alien obelisk to harmonize it. You then take that back to the ship and insert it (as well as a couple other items) and the ship will be yours.

Yep. Just make sure the ship you want to upgrade is the active one.

It'll also upgrade your tool if it isn't S class already.
