Yes, however some steps are required...be in same session 1st. 2nd have the ship u want to give away to friend or whatever....3rd take ship to a station and trade it to an npc...the other player then runs to that npc and should have the option to take the ship for free...been awhile since I've dome this so

Just a quick tip with egg trading, make a save before handing over the eggs then reload that save once you give the eggs to get them back.

Normally? No it’s save edited, you can have an egg plus the pet hatched by giving it to a friend, reload a save and you will have and egg along with your friend, just get them to give the egg back and hatch it

If you need to get to a location, you just have them go there, then you join their game afterwards.

Also if you're going to acquire a ship, tool etc, make sure to disable multiplayer, save/reload, once you get there, but before you look for the tool/ship what have you.

And land in the station first so you can come back on your own.

Reloading will probably put you back in the previous system/galaxy

Just keep in mind that doing story missions in multiplayer can bug them out, it’s advised that you get at least to the anomaly before playing with people, if you are going to play mp and do story missions just keep in mind that any issues you come across will likely be from multiplayer, to fix this just exit out of mp and restart the mission and this should hopefully fix it.
