No worries. Being that it's your second void egg, you just pulse in a system you don't have a base/settlement in to activate it, then ignore the place it tells you to go and get yourself to the ship you want, save, then reset the task and reload your save 'til it gives you the right ship.

Nope, it's just like I said; head to a system you don't have a base in, go to space, pulse until you're contacted, and it's active. Then you just need to take the ship it gives, OR jump somewhere else for a specific ship, save, and reset the quest until it gives you the right one.

Literally just did it for my new pink ship, so it hasn't changed. Super easy.

Costs 3300 nanites to revive the new ship though, so make sure you have some.

Best I can do in terms of lush galaxies is Eissentam, I mostly stay in Euclid, I like the relatively higher population

The easiest way to farm nanites imo is to get a bunch of units, and start buying or higher starships. Scrap them, then sell any upgrade modules to a research dealer near the scrap area on a space station

Especially fighters and shuttles I think

You can also get a freighter and a planetary probe, then just warp through different systems scanning things, uploading, and moving on to the next system

Though that requires a lot of antimatter if you don't have easy access to antimatter
