Ah fair enough, as the message states, there are numerous other Communities via #archived-nms-communities besides our own, including building focused ones like the PBF.

However, our faction does try to offer numerous different departments besides combat 🙂 Building sectors, traders, explorers, even some lorekeeping players 🙂 Our combat division is purely our largest of the playerbase 🙂

there's a way to reuse the scanners, but in creative the cost isn't an issue obv
It's not an installable tech, it's a consumable good

So you'll either need a fresh scanner for each run through the freighter, or you can use the trick to re-use it indefinitely

The trick is to stick it in your personal refiner after you find the freighter, but before you go and open the door

Otherwise it disappears
