Simple, one player joins the other players session, they meet, and exchange items over the quicktransfer option. A void egg normally costs 3200 quicksilver. Since that is not tradeable (except in the form of voideggs), you would have to settle for a different payment, although plenty people will just hand them out for free. If you are new however, a void egg shouldnt be the priority, complete the story first.

I know a glitch to get lots of any craftable item quickly. It requires 2 people though

Basically what you have to do is have some one join you in creative mode, and they can craft anything and give it to you

They can also build and buy anything even on freighters, but only if you are in the freighter at the same time as them
