No, follow the directions I gave.
If you save after you gave something away, you wont have it when you reload that save.
So you have to be deliberate about when you do/do not save/exit ship

Way I am understanding it is you go offline and save what you have, then go online, trade, reload that save.

You don't, you get out of your ship to give away the item, that's the last time you save.

Then you reload the restore point that was already created, but you do that offline to be in your own session.

Just to make sure you understand the basic process first:
1 Create restore point.
2 Give away item.
3 Go solo session.
4 Reload restore point.
The last step brings you back to the state in step 1.
Making a new restore point there for step 5 just syncs everything timewise, but it's not strictly necessary.
It's just to avoid the game choosing the more recent autosave when you reload later.

Why am I not seeing anyone on the Anomaly starting about 3 days ago? PS5—I’ve restarted the game, rebooted the PS5, logged in and out of PSN.

I turned off PvP which was on by default after a Minotaur stepped on me in a Featured Base, but does that stop you from even encountering other players in the Anomaly?

@steel ocean @placid hill It never existed as a distinct galaxy, it was literally Odyalutai in every respect minus the name and core colour - anything discovered/uploaded there is reachable at the same coordinates in Odyalutai.

When was that deleted? I can't find anything on it being unavailable

@steel ocean It was never deleted, the name was the result of error handling code, it wasnt actually its own galaxy. HG corrected it by setting up the loop from Iousongola to Euclid, and isolated Odyalutai. That was at Atlas Rises.
