I could be wrong, but I think any ship type but Exotic (Alpha/Golden are fighters) may (or will) have its class re-rolled on transfer. I'm willing to try transferring a Golden, but there's no guarantee it'll stay an S-class. (Alpha was natively a C-class, anyway)

If you need help with something specific, that's one thing, but in general, it is recommended to not do multiplayer while you are doing quests/missions, especially the main story, as being in multiplayer can prevent you from progressing some missions. 🙂

To "trade" ships, you and the person receiving the ship go to a space station. You then go to any random NPC and exchange your ship for thiers. The NPC then transfers to your old ship. Then the other player can talk to the NPC and claim the ship for free. Thus, trading the ship you own.

I have about 80 (i think 4 stacks of 20) x class upgrades, each being worth 720 nanites (if i do in fact have 80, that's 57,600 nanites), and then i have a storage container full of A.I. valves (i think that's 80 stacks of 100 valves) a stack of 50 valves is worth 600 Million units. I do dupe all my items so I don't lose them myself, but they will be offered to anyone that wants them. Also have storage augments for tool, ship, and freighter as well as void eggs and pretty much anything else imaginable. (There are things I don't have). Again, i do dupe by save exploits. Meaning i make a save point, give whatever someone wants, then reload my save point. It does not corrupt items or anything like that. DM me if interested in anything.

There's another way without doing the save point method

And it's much more efficient

Save point method is fastest way to dupe now as they changed it to make a save point when exiting your ship. Literally can offload your entire inventory and quickly reload your save point. Have absolutely everything back.

You misunderstood the full method. That's just to give away items. To effectively dupe, doubling the item each reload is basically the same but needs 2 people.

Yes. Say i have 50 valves and give then to you. I reload my save, get my 50 back, then have you return the 50 i gave you. Makes me have 100. I then make another save by jumping in and leaving my ship. Give you the now 100 valves and reload. I load back in with the 100. You return the 100 i gave you and i save again, now with 200 valves. Repeating this will double what you're duping every time you reload. 1/2/4/8/16/32/64/128/256/512 and so on. Gets exponentially big rather fast.

Have tainted metal, anomaly detectors, emergency beacons, eggs from 3 of the expeditions, atlas passes, frigate mission boosters. I have access to a system with an S class tool.

This one specifically.

Also have frigate upgrade modules. The items needed to unlock the tech as well as salvaged data.

I've hoarded most things in some capacity.

It may fix itself. It may not. The game likes to make things go back to default. I'm assuming due to the fact other players can find the location and if the terrain is altered drastically it might make their game crash. So to avoid it, it'll revert to default.

Cause my game was on the verge of crashing when i first joined you as it had to load in all the terrain then your base and any additional changes you made.

There's various ways to get units. Get 3 s class scanner upgrades and scanning animals will yield 200k -600k nanites depending on the upgrade and the rarity of the animal. You can find old stuff like bones. 3 types of rarity. Common is around 100k, uncommon is like 500k, and rare are 1 mil.

You could always give ships. Just exchange it with an NPC, they swap ships to take over yours, friend then goes to your ship and buys it off the NPC. It's free.

It's not hard. Save point only gets saved over when you leave your ship. Never enter your ship after giving something away, and you'll be good. Either disconnect from the group in game then reload, or quit to main menu, load in, then reload save point.
