Its more of a late game thing but basically in summary.
Get a ship (preferably a hauler) and make it S class. Also make it so that it is worth more than like 90 mil in scrap (in other words use upgrade modules and stuff to increase the price)
Then scrap it, you got a low chance of getting an ai valve

Nowadays since they have nerfed ai valves from 50 mil to 12 mil a pop, I'm not sure if they increased the chance of getting it. But besides that, yes that is how you do it

Now 80 ai valves is like roughly 800 mil to 1 bil (somewhere around there)
