Socks, I have to warn you that doing quests in multiplayer can do serious glitches in your save file. I strongly suggest you to do quests alone and not in multiplayer.

Exploring is okay but when it involves quests, things get problematic.

Well you having no problem doesn't mean it doesn't cause any problem for others. It is common problem.
I even faced it. I did settlement quest in multiplayer and quest acted like crazy.

Well hard? I don't think so. Especially not in normal nor creative.
You gotta plan ahead moving forward tbh. If you don't have fuel go and destroy asteroids and get fuel. Or craft starship fuels and split it for between starships for example.
