Honestly, if you don't have lamb, ground Italian sausage works better than beef for shepherd's pie. And Worchester sauce and 2-stage cooking the meat is the secret to make it great.

The shoyu broth (which I use for many Ramen variations) consists of beef broth, soy sauce, miso, garlic, black pepper and cinnamon.

Yeah, just simple mayo. The seasoning (salt, pepper, paprika) is fancy enough.
The secret is to pre-fry them at low heat, let them sit for a few minutes and then finish them at high heat, so they are crispy at the outside and soft on the inside.

nah didnt have the time just baked the thighs in the oven with a simple seasoning and sauce, shredded the chicken and then coated it in even more sauce

The shortcrust pastry consists of flour, butter, sugar, and an egg. It is briefly pre-baked.
Then, cream is brought to a boil with a little milk, bourbon vanilla and sugar, and thickened with gelatin/agar-agar.
Once the filling has cooled, strawberries are cooked with sugar and gelatin/agar-agar, puréed, strained, and poured over the tart to create a glaze.

It's not at all hard to make, just some prep for the almond paste

Almond Paste

• 250 gr blanched almonds (skin taken off)
• 250 gr sugar
• 1/2 lemon, grated skin (not the juice)
• 1 egg

Note: If the almonds still have skin, you can boil water, to then put them in for about 30 seconds to 1 minute. Take them out on top a tea towel or some cloth, fold together with the almonds inside and give a good rub. You can then easily peel the skins off.

Put the almonds in a food processor until cut fine, then add the rest of the ingredients to mix some more until you get a nice compact substance. You can take this out and make into a ball to put on top some plastic foil to close up and keep in the fridge for a day or two, so it picks up the flavour really well before use. Adjust the amount to your own needs, as you can make quite a few almond rolls out of this.
Note: The almond paste stays well in the fridge for 2 weeks max, or 2-3 months in a freezer.

Banketstaaf (#no-mans-steak🥩 message):

• Almond paste (above)
• Puff pastry (16 sheets 12cm x 12cm)
• 1 egg
  I used pre-made puff pastry. I used square packages from the deep-freeze that has 10 sheets (12cm x 12cm), but some shops have rolls of a better size.
  I used two sheets of puff pastry each, which I partly overlap, wetting slightly with water to 'glue' and press them together. You then put a slightly shorter roll of almond paste. Each side end of the pastry you fold slightly over the edge of the almond paste roll, wetting and pressing together where needed, before rolling the pastry completely around the almond paste to a close. You lay them on a sheet of baking paper on a flat oven tray, making sure the closing edge is at the bottom. If you have some almonds left, you can put a few halves on top, slightly pressed into the pastry. Lastly beat the egg to cover each roll with a thin layer using a brush.

Middle of oven at 200 C for 25-30 mins.

Tip: to make the almond paste rolls, because it can be quite sticky from the amount of sugar, use plastic foil again. Cut the ball of paste into parts. Take a part on top a bit of plastic foil and fold the foil over to then press into rough shape. Once it is taking a bit of shape to form a roll, neatly roll the plastic foil all around and then start rolling it. You can even press it and push it around inside the plastic, until you get the perfect roll. Then just open up the plastic again before you put it on top the pastry.

Keeps your hands clean and makes it easy on you (in my experience).

Oh and lastly, a fair warning: Do peel off the thin plastic sheets that cover each of the pastry sheets! 🤪

Sandwich (high calories)

Ingredients:
6 slices ,cut off crusts
Cheese slices 3 -6
Sauce
Capsicum thin sliced
Cabbage leafs
Carrot thin sliced
Black olives
Seasoning like basil,chilli flakes whatever you like
Mayonnaise

Recipe:
Put sauce,butter on both slices of bread
Layer all the vegetables on one side after putting the seasoning as needed
Put some mayonnaise
Put a leaf of cabbage on top
One or two slices of cheese
Close it off with another bread slice

Toast it in a sandwich maker or a pan and you can have 3-4 of these to feel full

Serves 1 (or 2 if you are very calorie specific)

Okay so I'm about to post a recipe called gulab jamun. It's an Indian/Pakistani sweet that I usually buy from the store cause I'm too lazy to make it, but once when I did try I followed this recipe.

Let me get the full thing

500 gm Khoya
50 gm Wheat Flour
½ Egg
2 cup water
2 cup sugar
2 cardamoms
1 and half liter oil
Instructions for Gulab Jamnun:
1.	Take a pan
2.	Add 2 cup water
3.	Add sugar and cook it
4.	Now add cardamom and cook for 5-10 minutes
5.	Now take a bowl, add khoya and mash it
6.	Add wheat flour, Baking powder, ½ egg and mix it well with your hands
7.	Now make Gulab jaman of this
8.	Now add oil in a pan and heat it lightly, add gulab jamon in this oil
9.	Fry these until they turn into light brown
10.	Now garnish with cardamom and dip these gulab jamons into sugar syrup for 2 hours
Preparation Time: 3 hours
cooking Time: 30 Minutes
serve: 4 people

i can do eggs pretty much in whatever way someone wants; its prolly one thing I'm really good at. Probably one of the more random things I found out is that if you use tater tots or fries and mix them in, along with cheese and ham lunchmeat, and top that with spinach you can have an easy and filling breakfast. Done it many times :3
