The best way to do so is to place and claim a Base Computer, which allows you to always teleport back to it via any teleporter

Euclid Galaxy is unique for being the galaxy that all players start in. Kikolgallr, Eissentam and Isdoraijung are somewhat special for having featured bases in them to reach them at any time. That's the only true uniqueness to them I'd say

Not too rare, they display their presence from the Galaxy Map

They are useful to get sentinel ships, sentinel multi-tools etc, which aren't hard at all to get if you know how to #nms-commands message

I would say anything in-between #11 and #255 inclusive would be very sparsely populated,
The stars are the economy level. They don't affect much, other than what is available at the trade terminals

for nanites its a nanite farm if you want you can add me i have a planet where a ton of ppl build nanite farms for everyone, you just use a mining beam to mine mold ot whatever its called tehn you refine it into nanites, you can ofc build a nanite farm yourself though
They also dictate odds of ranks naturally spawning in those economies
E.g. s rank cannot spawn in level 1 economy systems,. except those that ignore it (exotics and living frigates, for example)

Adjacency bonuses are not reflected in the tooltip, but if you check your weapons tooltip DPS it will change
The stats displayed will never show the improvements, only the final stats

Correct, though you generally want them as blocky shaped rather than line shaped as much as possible

The shape matters only for maximizing the amount of sides that they are touching

Doing derelict freighters and choosing to fabricate a bulkhead at the end
this of course costs a lot of units to buy the emergency signal scanners, so it can be good to buy one each day to get them at their cheapest amount
its been awhile since i did the autophage quests, how does one find them again?
Use your Polyphonic Core to ping an Autophage Camp, then go to it and Scan to reveal the hidden Autophage units

If you farm Interceptors you will make a huge amount of cash and some ship storage augmentation modules. You can use the cash from about 3 interceptors to buy a slot on a ship OR buy an S class ship for less than that and scrap it for one or more augmentation modules. Also check missions in non-pirate stations. They often have a mission that gives a ship augment. Focus on getting increased exosuit storage though. You only need a few extra technology slots on a ship especially if you only have one or two weapons. If you are REALLY ticked off about selling augments you could get one from any method then use the duplication glitch to make more.
Basically the cargo bulkheads at the end of derelict freighter is the only reward that is worth getting, since it's a pita to get. The nanites are quite pitiful, and techs are even worse since it's not guaranteed to be s rank, while killing dreadnoughts guarantees S rank techs, for free.

For starship augments, I semi cheat by looking up shared coordinates of "first wave exotic" space stations (stations with a high likelihood of having an exotic amongst its first wave of ships), and check to see if scrapping that exotic ship drops 3 starship cargo augments, if not, try the next station, if one is found, then stay at that space station, scrap the exotic, save and reload, wait for first wave to appear, buy and scrap the same exotic, rinse and repeat.

Yes, so it's not the easiest, but compared to finding the right freighter it's a drop in the bucket, I just got ridiculously lucky with how quickly I found that 1x4 freighter

You need to get it to surrender, which requires you to destroy it's engines, and either destroy it's anti ship cannons or destroy it's shield generators and damage it's hull down until it surrenders

Do you mean frigates? They have these chances. Note that frigates level up as they complete expeditions, so it doesn't matter toooo much

No idea, some modules simply don't have adjacency bonuses, a few modules are like that sprinkled around, the auto charging launcher, one of the exosuit oxygen upgrades, etc etc do not confer adjacency bonuses to anything

Possibly an old tooltip text? You can either sell it for units or refine them into nanites, but I would sell at least 2 for units, one of the quest steps involves getting units for microprocessor, a few eggs should be enough units for that step, assuming you haven't gotten the units required already

Hey so I exchanged a new ship and it told me to "quick transfer" since the game told me to empty my ship, I did quick transfer on everythink in my ship and when it was clear I hit exchange, I assumed quick transfer went to my exo suit but everything is gone, does quick transfer delete everything? There is a mission that gives you one for free after saving it other than that you have to pay to get one

It has been proven time and time again that using a glyph code for a system that is not in your current galaxy will cause the portal to put you in a different system in your current galaxy
Try it with any coordinates in Euclid, then go to a different galaxy, and use the same portal code, you will be brought to a different star

Galaxy type dictate the planet type distribution in their yellow systems, for example, harsh galaxies have more harsh weather planets, green galaxies have more lush planets, dead galaxies I think has more dead planets, and light blue is just normal like euclid

Basically, rememberance, star seed and 3 s class exosuit shields are enough to cap your health to 9, meaning core health on the sentinel and autophage life support modules are dead stats with those two

is there an appreciable difference in ship types? I like a big bulky juggernaut ship. Was gonna start working on crafting my first starship, looking at haulers.

Their stat bonus % ranges, their speeds when fully upgraded, their max upgradeable storage sizes as well as how much they tend to start with
The general consensus is that while each ship has their stat differences , a fully upgraded ship of any kind will be enough to take on anything the game throws at you, the ship types becomes a matter of what would you like to do more efficiently than others
there's a combat scaling system, so you won't be truly outdone if you don't focus on combat
but combat won't get boringly easy if you spec heavily into it either (well it does eventually, it just takes a lot of effort)
Why is there only 1 star on the planet if there 3 stars in the system?
Haulers lack of damage bonus and low manuverability is countered by that they have the strongest shields, so it balances out

I don’t know if it’s a switch 2 issue only, but I’ve seen it happen before. Usually fixes itself within a minute or so for me.

the result of a temporary graphics bug, or mods
having 3 x +33% gives you 6 health total
so they each count as one core health

Very much depends on the type that you want, in the end they're all functionally the same besides the big upper ones starting out with a few more slots
But overall, class is fully random for them, chances determined by local system economy
They are capital freighters, which are only found during freighter rescue events or pirate dreadnought events
they could be easily farmed via save scumming with regular events, or hunting a system that always spawns pirate dreadnought events and warping back and forth from that

The former is treated like any other starship, it's technology is damaged a bit

maybe changing a difficulty option may improve how much you get total, but not enough to offset how much you miss out on by using big mode

they almost never respond unless it's an issue pertaining you you specifically, like your 500hr save being corrupted in some undo-able way
Or you can use the autonomous mining unit, build 5 of them on top of a deposit, fuel it up, stand there for a bit and then loot it, it probably won't be much faster than doing the manual mining but at least you can take a break for a bit

You can leave them forever, but they won't extract while you are not there and is limited by the fuel you put in
Booster, as i know all exocrafts can use them
There are the boost upgrades that improve boost tanks/stuff, as well as the suspension blueprints which the drift one is fun
They do not ever deplete the node however

The polyphonic core keeps glowing in my multi tool, I already used it and recharged it and it's still glowing, like if I had to do something with it, but theres nothing else to do

If you are not using the core, and the glowing is bothering you, I would leave it uncharged
