I'd say the tentacles were the hardest, I made a path similar to blue one above, where I made a loop of it moving upwards and to the right. Then, I moved that layer under my predrawn tentacle and altered the tentacle so that it has the same length as the previous frame but remains inside the blue guidelines (if that makes sense). I made a 6 frame gif thats 0.5 speed to show what it roughly would look like. Then I just copied that for all the other 4-5 tentacles and slightly stretched or shrunk them

The arms were just rough-handed, and the shading was by sampling the base color from a well lighted leviathan image and then making shades by brightening and hue shifting towards yellow and darkening and hue shifting towards purple

My take about AI is that it’s meant to be a tool, not a means to an end. For things like code or spotting punctuation errors in essays, yeah sure! But doing it for you?

AI is a tool; just like a hammer is a tool, and there are ethical ways to use a hammer. You can use it to build a cozy home but you can just as easily use it to bash someones head in. When it comes to AI its not just what you use the AI for that needs to be ethical but the program itself as well. Many generative AI's do something called scraping where they steal our art and our content without our permission, breaking its copyright, and use it to train their model. That is not ethical at all and I don't support the use of ANY AI that does this.

you're subconsciously influenced by many different works, that be art or literature, but you never credit those because you didn't directly use them as a source (AI kinda does tho so i see how that makes people mad)

-> Wyvern would have more webbed wings with potential for feathered, when landed they would take a quadrupedal stance.
-> Bird would have more feathered wings with potential for webbed, when landed they would take a biped bird stance.

And that’s fine, it’s normal! But as long as you learn to enjoy the process and be proud of yourself for overcoming the struggles (and know when to stop lol) then you’re an artist!

An experiment I tried yesterday to try to improve my sci fi vehicles. I have a method that I call the Dottle Method that I use to make creatures sometimes. Gave the dots-to-make-spaceships method a go again, this time to see what’s a good middle ground for doing this. When I use the same method for making creatures, the more the better. For spaceships… the fewer the better, it seems. I’ve retried 14 about 5 times now
