Solo at extract a lot of times it’s not worth effort of fighting. Everyone just says the don’t shoot.

However out n about, it’s pretty 50/50. I typically avoid contact unless seen. Then throw the don’t shoot.

I tried out Cubic Odyssey now that it has dedicated servers.

It's also on sale.

I hated every minute of it.

I went through the story tutorial and had enough. The tutorial is unintuitive and tedious. The story is uninspired. The telling of said story is not a motivation to continue.

I tried out the dedicated servers...The highest pop one had three dudes in it all AFK. There's almost no communication. The game offers emotes to communicate, but there's no voice or text chat.

It hurt to play. I felt myself getting dumber by the minute.

I wouldn't recommend that game for free, much less the $20 it's asking for at 40% off.

I hope it appeals to some people tho. It's clear the developers are working on something. I don't know what it is and it will be unlikely that it ever meets my expectations - but it's not an asset flip. It just needs fine tuning.

Hi is there any shooter which has a pvp game mode where each team has atleast 10 or more players? playing that pvp mode gives rewards(better if better performance give better reward) which we can use to craft/upgrade gears or skills or stats etc and these progressions are persistent which we can carry for next pvp battles and there's no server wipe. During battle those progressions must not be equalized and higher progression/geared players should do more damage or atleast bit advantage than lower progressed/geared players.

The combat model you've described would kill any reasonable PVP game over a very short period of time.

Dune Awakening might be close to what you're looking for, but no server wipe? Thems are Dayz dedicated server rules...Not publically and freely accessible servers

I was playing Solasta recently, a pretty neat little RPG that does a good job at being a sort of D&D simulator. Interesting part is that you as a player don't really have your own character but instead create (or pick from pre-generated) a cast of characters and their dialog lines are determined by their traits.

It will be getting a sequel and pre-alpha Demo is available right now https://store.steampowered.com/app/2975950/Solasta_II/. It was pretty fun, looks like it will have a bit more oomph then it's predecessor. Looks promising, Demo was pretty fun

They seem to have some interesting ideas, when I was taking a long rest I had a pop-up saying that it might have consequences, which i didn't see in the demo as it's rather short, but time passing having impact on the story can be either pretty neat. It can create urgency and might force you to ration your rests and resources. Games with rest mechanics too often let you just take rests in abundance which results in you always being at full power. It might also be very annoying if not done right.

Another neat thing is some other consequences. In the fight I recorded I have some kobolds joining it. I met them earlier and intimidated them into releasing a guy I needed to progress. I assume you could also fight them if you failed the checks, but bc the resolution was peaceful they heard something going down and came to check what's going on and joined the fight against common enemy. Very neat detail.
