For a game that touts the exploration aspect…

• It’s the same 12(?) animal models and 12 plants on all the planets.
• There is no exploration log, research catalog, notes, or any other data visible to me as an explorer.
• Can’t set waypoints at all, anywhere.
• Going to a system you haven’t before requires manual jumps to each intermediary system
• Every planetary installation is the same. I.e. I go to an abandoned Cryo Lab, and it’s the same. Walk down ramp, make two lefts, go through vent on left. There’s a set of bolt cutters on the ground near the end of vent corridor, and 3 vents to the next room. The room has exactly 4 enemies…
• Stealth mechanics are unpredictable. Sometimes I can shoot a guy with a silenced weapon while chameleoned at 75m away and no one suspects a thing. Others, the enemy runs straight for me like I was a circus clown playing the drum
• All the cartographers are DEAD. We don’t have any maps for cities, installations, or anything else, except the nearly useless area view from the scanner.

reforged eden is a whole other game. If you're going to play reforged eden you might as well be playing online on a server...and if you're going to play on a server with others, reforged eden isn't really necessary

Reforged Eden just adds a separate scenario from the main story that follows another version of events.

Playing online with others depending on whether you're going for pve or pvp has its own story built around that....and the main story for the game is barely there.

It exists almost entirely as a tutorial, then lets you go in a massive universe
