They should all allow scaling of all parts at increased ranges, up to 10x I believe.

Well i now have glitched eggs with fiends and walkers…almost got the drone to work but looks like it’s other systems get caught up when trying to be a companion, it kinda just spawns in the ground with its scanner light effect detached from its lense maybe i just wasn’t using the right descriptors. 🤷🏻♂️ one thing is for sure that walker straight up crashes the mp server.
There is no mod for bigger group sizes but one of you can leave the group while others join and then leave to make room for the others until everyone has been teleported to the same location
So you could have a group of 4 and a group of 3 then.

There's a pattern to it, if the ordering is out of whack
if you re-order it, you get a run of bytes: 11, 22, 33, 44, 55, 66 in the first 6 strings

you edit your save
It’s not really worth it as spawning the walker pet just crashes your mp server but if you really want one. Nms save edit< edit raw json< change creature id to desired id< remove all descriptors besides new creature descriptors. It’s a good idea to catch a random companion let it fill that pet slot and just edit over that creature otherwise the modded creature probably won’t spawn. So far this works with walkers and fiends quite well. Fiends won’t crash the mp server but do expect to be flocked for free eggs.

Yes you can indeed stick a fiend in an egg to give to players on all platforms. It cannot produce one naturally.

i got one fav mod that makes my jetpack last like forever but it makes issue with the new land thrusther mods it makes them obsolete so im trying some replacement, some mobility cheat mod.. like fly longer maybe run faster , any tips ?

use luas with AMUMSS and you won't need to worry about mod compatibility

all Vortex do for you is dragging the paks to MODS anyway

so I used the work around to open up the nms gamepass version for modding, but I still cant actually access the files of the game itself
I wish it were possible to transfer saves from gamepass to steam... but I have way too much time into the gamepass version to just start over
are gamepass saves obfuscated differently in json?
if it's not, you can just wait till NomNom updates (if it's not already) then extract the json and paste that shit onto a steam save
I know you can't just plop the gamepass save into the steam version, but I didn't try looking into the save itself. I'm still concerned that my buildings and stuff won't save

the gamepass save may just be encrypted on top
but I can't say for sure cos I don't have gamepass
but if you can transfer your save via json then all your bases will transfer just as well
local saved bases takes priority most of the time
if you're afraid, delete your bases in game in the gamepass version after you transferred the base

Ok, I'm now well rested and would like to apologize about my earlier behavior.
As it turns out, although graphical mods don't conflict with other mods, they CAN however be SO OLD that the game just crashes with them.
The problem was Dark Warp.

@pulsar canopy That mod has become sort of a joke around here. It is very old and outdated and yet somehow is always trending on Nexus lol.
It's a shader mod. When those were made, NMS used a different shader system/language (OpenGL). Since then it has converted to Vulkan. Good thing in most respects, but modding Vulkan shaders is almost a no-go. It can be done but it is a gigantic logic puzzle where modding one little thing requires (most of the time) modding many files.
In other words, I don't see anyone doing it anytime soon.
I wouldn't worry about the "behavior" lol. I've been here for years and I've had my moments. I think everyone has. People seem to be pretty understanding and helpful around here. We no worry bout it mon.

They are by Lo2k. Good modder. He is currently trying to update them. Prisms changed the way warp scenes work. That is probably your best bet and he is usually one of the fastest modders. @pulsar canopy
And if you were really wanting exactly the one you mentioned, it would probably have to be sorta remade vs updated. I have never made that kind of mod, so I'm not very much help there.
tbh HGs new warps are so fancy and high quality that I finally don't need to use any warp altering mods anymore

vortex can track mod versions for you (so does tracking the mod on Nexus site) but since installing mods is just dragging a pak file to a folder, if you can do it yourself, vortex isn't really necessary

If you're getting the red warning message and you have the latest version of the mod, with only the two mods you have installed, there's no reason it shouldn't work. I would go to what QP said and make sure you know how to use it
