I put First Rectum folder with Lua file in a folder called modscript then I allowed to to create and it created 2 separate folders into mod folder but am nit during if this is correct

Although in this case it doesn't matter, because the game doesn't use .lua files directly, be VERY careful about how you extract archives. Here you've created a new folder, named after the archive .zip. This will not work with regular mods, as all the files will be one level deeper than they should be.
Can always tell when the mod folder in mods has a bunch of numbers after the name.
Put the three Luas into AMUMNSS\ModScript, then run Buildmod.bat

hhmmm, not sure. Winder did just reupdate scripts for MILF, SACS, RecTUM, and EUCLI, although not sure what changed...and as mentioned Ultra Base Building will be getting an update today, when I get the chance (as will Beyond Base Building and EISS).
Same as any other time, remove mod folders until the crashing stops.
So I'll try removing the ones your updating
Ultra Base probably the only one of those three that might be the culprit, as it has many MBIN.

@solid hawk do you think it's possible to strip speeder ship parts to fabricate into your own colour style using a mod and i know theres no mod of my knowledge of doing this with fabricating ?
I think it's possible if Yous had made interceptors possible
FriendlyFire did the interceptors one. I haven't messed with fabricator. That would be a major thing, since the speeder ship is NOT procgen, only comes in one color, and only has one seed, as I recall. Would need to be made procgen and no way of knowing how different seed values would affect without trying.

ok, could be either or then. Ultra Base needs an update due to the MBINs, but could also have been the NMS EXML parsing engine getting confused by multiple versions of EISS being installed (add in listings in one version, remove those same listing from another).
Feel free to chuck Ulta Base back in there to see if crash resumes. Not strictly necessary, as I will be updating it tonight anyway, just curious.

and do post MODS folder if you make a report

X-wing, U-wing, ARC-170, etc.

17 and 18 will rerun later this year yeah. and instead of unlocking stuff with the save editor, i'd suggest save editing quicksilver into the save, then use consumerism mod to make those rewards appear in the quicksilver shop - buy them that way, probably way less messing around

account tab - you unticked that, saved changes, loaded game, it was still showing as available, correct?
on this tab, it tells me what the reward ID is.
it'll be the same ID everywhere we need to look in.

- edit raw json editor (the save itself): basecontext/playerstatedata/{knownspecials, redeemedseasonrewards} for the relevant id
- edit account json (the account file): usersettingsdata/unlockedseasonrewards for the relevant id

this entire part doesn't matter if you just restore the save folder backup you did before starting to mess with it and unlock any boxes
if you do that, the only file you need to be concerned with is not in the save folder at all

Looks like an animation is shifting the trans way more than intended, like an order of magnitude. You can open the model, see what node that part is, then track down the animation and look for the trans portions. I would look, but I don't have enough time to look at my own stuff π¦

Keep in mind, this is a temporary mod. At some point, hopefully soon, HG will fix it, then the mod should be removed and will be buried with full honors.

Do the ships players assemble in-game display parts/colours to other players in MP properly?
As long as you use in-game mechanics, it should display the same for everyone

JSON editing is not an in-game mechanic, which could result in a different look for others
You prolly won't be able to do anything different in json than in game that'll get synced in mp, if at all
Technically, if you do the edits correctly, replicating default in-game results, it should be good for others too
it'll be easier to directly state what you're looking to change and have us tell you if it'll work

I have a lot of experience messing with JSON, just havenβt had the game for over a year and a half. I was messing with staffs before my ps4 crapped out, and also recall how custom descriptor overrides were applied waaaay back in the day to make a custom ship from parts. (Other players would just see the model generated by the ship seed, though)

We can create custom ships in-game (fabricator), but there are still limitations that come with it. If you go outside of the limitations set by the game, it will likely not show the same for others. There is plenty data that can be adjusted freely to your liking, but there is no guarantee this will sync to others the same way

Yep, Iβm well-versed in NMS shenaniganry - theories are great, but they almost invariably set up roadblocks in sequence due to unforeseen interactions in the game, lol.
Save editing is where I come up with βsafe betβ ideas - Iβve been trying to explain a non-PC build concept in #nms-base-building for hours on how to actually connect player bases with SRT transitβ¦
everyone else seems to have given it up as the impossible piece needed for a MP city-type build years ago, but Iβve attempted 2 prototypes over the years, and learned enough that I believe the 3rd time may just be the charm. Itβll be a few months til I can grab the game and something to play it on again - itβd be nice to line up a 2nd builder in advance, though, it took months of looking to get volunteers for the other tries lmao!
Ah yes, I have been following that discussion. A teleport system is certainly possible, especially with Save Editing being an option. An easier way is to connect SRT pairs to lead to base boundaries, where you overlap one of the SRT ends from each base, to allow further instant TP.
That works for 2 friends that want their bases connected, but unless things have changed, ODS refuses to send base data for the 2nd base to players, so it can only be shared live between players.
One other thing to note, I want it to work anywhere, so no testing on high traffic planets - there seem to be less restrictions when building on RV and weekend mission planets

Fabricated ships all have the same (model) seed, the parts that players customize are overridden. When you see a player with a fabricated ship in multiplayer, you get their customization data sent to you and can see it correctly, yes.
The data that is shared is a list of IDs for the parts plus the colour and texture options. The IDs aren't the same as the ALTIDs used in procgen, there's a table that maps which ones correlate to which ALTIDs (because the fabrication is simplified compared to procgen and one fabrication ID could map to a specific combination of ALTIDs).
In terms of the colour data, I'm not totally sure but from what I've heard from other people, each colour is stored as RGB values - however, if you save edit a value that doesn't match any of the fabrication options it won't load properly in game.
You can save edit a fabricated ship into a different design, but you can't make anything that you can't already do with the in-game fabricator because the only part IDs that exist are the ones that are used in game, and you can't set colours that aren't available in game.

@fringe vessel Trails and thruster lights are assigned by locators on the models, which cannot be modified by save editing. You can only fix that with a mod, which wouldn't be visible in multiplayer.

However, it relates to my Sentinel Starship Fabricator mod and contains data you won't find in vanilla game, so only thing you could learn from it is the structure

Ah, that is something I hadnβt considered - however, thereβs a simple solution: try to match my custom combos with seeds that have matching engines, and preferably lighted accessories. the reason is someone decided to store all colours data from all palettes despite them being used for something and it stuck to this day
fabricated ships use 3 colour palettes, exoskiff uses 1 - doesn't matter, write all colours to save data
The proc texture system can access any of those colours so I guess they need them all there
If HG (or a modder) decided to make the ship paint texture pull from the leaf palette instead of the paint one then I suppose it would be a headache if those colours weren't in the save
nevermind that they could just generate the colours from the seed, which is where they come from initially anyway though lol

You should normally be able to do this using NomNom (save editor). However, the Xbox GP save files do have to be on the PC you are using, to be able to be used for transfer.

Game probably disabled all mods, remove that file so game can load all mods again

You can try making a holographic zoo with wonder projectors displaying static images

If you had one, which couldn't be despawned.....you wouldn't be able to spawn any others. Stuck with that one forever.
General rule of thumb, search for mods on NexusMods, if you don't see a mod that does what you want, after almost 9 years, fairly safe that it isn't possible

Will not affect pets you already have, as their stats and size are stored in your save and mods can't directly affect save data. That's the job of a save editor.

Maybe an issue of expectation. Nobody is going to make a mod that generates 400ft high godzillas. You get a herd of those on screen and fps plummets to 1. The point of mods is to make peoples game experience better, not worse. π

the only thing it is doing is spawning the big spider monsters
but the other creatures are regular size

ok, I think he's just using a multiplier on the max size generated and leaving minimum size alone, so they can be generated anywhere in that range, with the largest and smallest being the rarest. procgen. That bug definately seems larger than standard max size, to me.
