You can still save before the warp so that when you reload restore point, your next warp is always a freighter battle, so that you can redo the fight hopefully for a higher class

EXML patch notes should work fine, but it's not always a guarantee
Some mods still require MBIN replacements and those can become outdated throughout patches
If it has an MBIN file and hasn't been updated since May or June, it probably won't work
Like recently HG updated material and texture (?) MBINs

So any mod with custom mats/ textures is broken

they just streamlined shaders and overhauled mats
Next patch will (probably) include changes to entity MBINs

Vortex works but the one time I tried to use it it was set to outdated defaults and created a mods folder in the old spot for me very kindly
vortex was updated like half a month after the MODS folder location change
but Vortex doesn't do the best job of updating itself from what I've heard
if it installs in the wrong place just do a check update or reinstall vortex
I have one vortex setup for my normal play and when I'm testing stuff I clear it out and do manual installs
so here i'd have to create a MODS folder myself right?
AMUMSS is a 3rd party mod builder program
It allows people to compile / build mods for the games by modifying vanilla files according to instructions provided in LUA scripts

It also allows people to merge conflicting mods by applying instructions from multiple scripts onto the same file, combining what would be changes from separate mods
so it's more for making/merging mods

especially now when mods can be done as EXML patches
game handles merging those automatically
if you really need to have MBIN mods that are conflicting with each other, and those mods have LUA scripts availble, then AMUMSS comes into the play

if you didn't actually extract the content the game will not load the zip file
so those files cannot be the cause of your issues

you don't need SACS for Eucli-ea to function

which was causing their crashes

if you're in the same situation you should use Eucli-ea 3.5.7.6 which is one version behind the latest one
and if you need any help verifying you're installing mods properly you can always upload a screenshot of your MODS folder

Hi, does anyone knows how to add more supercharged slots to exocrafts in the last update? I tried both using a save editor and directly changing the faw json, but when I reload the save the slots are back to the original ones. It works instead for the exosuit.
You cannot add more SC slots to excrafts without a mod
There is a mod on nexus but it is outdated, and also using the lua it did not work unfortunately

It's not advised to mess with mission data since that can break easily and isn't very well understood by most people I believe

I don't know if there are many tutorials on how to use the save editor in general since it's very intuitive, and I'm not sure how you can fix your broken mission, you may just not be following it closely enough, it directs you to a structure for your second calibration but many mistake this for "learn a word at all"

Should be fixed in the next public game hotfix release.

The buildings for a settlement and the location are fixed. There is no way to change that

What Consumerism does is adding the various expedition and Twitch rewards to the QS shop
It doesn't affect the prices of the items, HG set some prices on them and we see and pay those prices in QS when purchasing
There's an add-on mod called Communism that sets the prices to 0
The amount of void eggs and other stuff you can unlock is mad crazy

Delete the Binaries\SETTINGS\GCMODSETTINGS.MXML file. When you launch NMS again, it will recreate the file.

well demand for commerce is non existent unless you play strictly without mods or exploits which most players dont. Especially for the prior expedition rewards
there are a billion ways to get what you want in game without "playing as intended". It happens unintentionally via ppl giving you random shit in the nexus or random bugs you dont know. it way easier to glitch this game than you think

I’m trying to get the models for the Autophage to modify them in blender
HGPakTool to extract the paks, NMSDK to import the models to blender
If you're planning to import your modified Autophages back into the game, that's outside the scope of what's possible with the tools at this time

I don't think there's a youtube tutorial, no. Just looking up a generic tutorial for getting the python stuff should help you if you're stuck
actually using the tool is really straightforward once you have it, just drag and dropping the paks onto the tool .bat
python is something you can just download and install
you can just get AMUMSS tho
comes with NMSPE which you can use to unpack
but if you can't use an installer using any other tool may also be difficult

Does playing the expeditions offline kill the atmosphere at all? I’d love to get through the backlog but i wanna have a good experience and not just get the rewards
There was one expedition that had a community component. Nothing else really matters
I mean there was one whole expedition without players altogether, so no, it does not kill the atmosphere
In most cases it doesn’t but doing it online with other people does have its benefits. For example: I remember in exp 13 which had all npcs removed made me get closer to the actual players, and there was a mission in which we had to kill biological horrors. It was so fun to be with a bunch of people killing biological horrors in contrast to what had been an empty universe at the start

- sentinel ships will never be as agile in combat as an exotic (which is what starborn phoenix is underneath)
- sentinel ships' crimson core adds +600LY range, so that hyperdrive bonus value being low doesn't matter much - innate bonuses dont tell the whole story
- both starborn phoenix and sentinel can hover inside atmosphere.
- despite all that, own what you love the looks of, they're both awesome ships after upgrades anyway
you have to put into consideration that stats in saves are not stats in game

because the stats in the saves get multiplied by their corresponding ship type stats

Whomever posted the custom save should have provided instructions on the DESCRIPTION tab. If they didn't give them a poke in POSTS on the mod page.
There's different formats and different save editors, so the instructions need to come from the person who "authored" it.
@indigo island in short, i'd suggest to use a save editor to add quicksilver to your save, and use a mod to add previous expedition rewards to the quicksilver shop, if you're on pc. if you're not on pc, just use service bot.

You got to have a ship you don't want and then sway with new one from quicksilver store and with multi tools in slot one you need weapon you don't really want and swap with new one

yeah you can do it as long as you can access the save
you just can't do it directly to a PS5 save because you can't get the save from the console itself

I had crashed the game i had installed couple more new mod witch was working but one of the new ones installed you can spawn in different ships it seams so while looking through build menu I had seen that tab I spawn one on my freighter I went to get in it it said switch primary ship and game crashed after closing the game and load back up some of the mods stopped loading so am j7st wondering since ive shut every off until am back on later I wonder if they will continue to work again

I screwed my self earlier when I did serton thing and caused the game to crash and all mods get disabled including infinite item stack mod and lost a lot of resources totally gutted rip
and there are properties to specify inventory stack size, there are not to specify capacity to store ships

I installed some new mods and I was checking them out in game on freighter and I was able to spawn speeder ship out on deck there me not really think I thought hmm I wonder if I can get in it so I did message came up with black screen switched primary ship and game crashed I got crash message and never ready it cl9se that off and reloaded game but noticed the mods no longer was working so that's how I ended up losing sload of resources

There's actually two mods in this zip. One is the one being tested, the other is to help make testing a bit easier.
To help this process, More Fleet Expedition Events increases the number of events per mission, which increases rewards AND ramps up the difficulty level. In the hopes this increases the chance of damage happening....
It is also set to make missions finish instantly.

Semi-automatic repair of damaged frigate from sending on fleet missions.
Requires landing on the damaged frigate with your ship, to repair the damage.
My one successful test, I teleported to the damaged frigate. Got in my ship, which was on a frigate landing pad. Took off and landed on a pad on the other side. Upon landing, mission log changed to repaired.
Here's the questions, in my mind:
-Fly to the damaged frigate from your freighter and land. Does this then repair the frigate?
-Can you teleport to the damaged frigate from Fleet Command console, jump in the ship, take off and re-land on the same pad to trigger the repair?
-Is it necessary to talk to the frigate captain and view the damage report first?
This mod saves you from having to run all over the damaged frigate to access the consoles to repair the damaged parts
So you want me to see if it allows for ne todo this
If just me and I only get one damaged frigate a week, going to take me a month to answer these questions, lol

You need to go into the JSON of your new save and copy your player IDs from one of your bases, then use find and replace to overwrite all instances of em from your old save.

basically, the raw json editor will look something like this; on the left, you expand basecontext, then playerstatedata, then find persistent bases. if you've renamed some of your bases, this will be easy. expand persistentplayerbases, and expand "0": click "owner", and on the right you'll see - keep going through the bases under persistentplayerbases if needed
ofc, make sure to have backups of relevant save folders, before you start messing with any of this

Though the folder with the mod name has to be at the top of the MODS folder

@solid hawk yes auto repair mod fir frigates tmseam to work fine i long on the frigates I get normal message and to fix it I wait moment and all is fixed but just from first frigate I message with tick box show it's completed and tge other frigates I did not get this but all got auto fixed

Having a little fun making a new unique mod from scratch, in very short period of time. On the modding discord guy asked about doing something, so I ran with it, but not much time to do so.Gave him first results mod to test and awaiting answer. Sort of went with a low hanging fruit solution.

The tilde gets loaded by the game properly usually seeing how it can be seen in modsettings
The only thing that's changed by switching into a plus is that it sets the mod at the highest priority which makes it overwrite all other mods' QS shop listing

Time adjustment has been removed from the Frigate Repair mod for publication. Was only in there for testing purposes. More Events for Fleet Missions does still have time adjustment, but it's not instant. Vanilla time divided by 4
If you want instant back, I left the "code" in the Repair Lua script, just commented out. Can uncomment in the Lua, process the script through AMUMSS then use the output mod files.

You can copy a base to overwrite another base, using a save editor. However, it would never be quite the same due to terrain not matching and a different orientation of the new location. You can make some adjustments though, but it will not always turn out great, depending on the build

if you're still getting this encounter spammed, and you think that all your eggs are in a secondary ship or non active exocraft - ime, there's still an egg out of there
Also having issues with filling me shield with radiant shard ever since I make it infinite amount with the tool so instead of filling my shields it shows the number when I tab it drops to 1 like ive only got 1 shard I tap again and you get all amounts of numbers back

if you get an egg, pulse, let the encounter take the egg, then select different mission, then anomaly detector - it cannot. it will not. give the spam again.
