I still like how the first line the atlas ever says to us spoils a fair bit, being that the atlas from the start was ||a program||

When the First Spawn killed Korvax Prime, it screamed in pain that no one could hear but the sentinel. When they couldn't take it anymore, when the pressure was too much for them to handle they snapped and started killing any and all lifeform. A certain type of sentinel from one of the universe annihilated that entire universe in Almere 54 seconds.
Then shards... what do you think they are if not glass? Glass that is resonating with the echoes of the void mother, of Korvax Prime. The resonators don't mine shards, they are drilling into the location to find something. The "corruption" itself is because of the shards... corruption... the corrupted sentinel... these are the sentinel that were "different" form normal ones. The sentinel that started attacking everything. The sentinel that were free from the grips of The Atlas.

In all seriousness, I think the corruption is a trap set for Travellers. And most of us have fallen into it. Really makes me want to reevaluate my sentinel tech and whether or not I should keep it.

Now we find dismantled station cores and altered sentinel tech at harmonic camps. The autophages also repeat the phrase "Void mother something".

Korvax station cores when presented with harmonic brain will say "I see her".

It has all been an elaborate plot to rebuild Korvax Prime/Void Mother/Abyss! The station cores "See her" because the reconstructed Abyss is still somehow linked to the cores!

idk... just piecing together all the stuff and how Abyss has manifested itself very clearly during the past few years

At one point (apparently forced by the Atlas), Telamon becomes the Artificial Intelligence attached to the Last Traveller's exosuit, prior to the Traveller's first awakening. It is still aware of its past purpose, but it seems to progressively lose its sanity over time.

TL;DR, The echo seed mission is on a timer, rather than quantity of seeds. This is possibly due to the fact that PC players could fast forward the expedition for everybody via save file editing.

I don’t doubt its a timer, expedition 2 had the same thing happen, stayed on 99% for 12hrs but this instance their calculations aren’t believable if they say it reaches 100 on the 12th

It is interesting why it has segments (I’ll be abusing it for higher class memory fragments tho) my guess is it’s just going to be phases in the story, maybe after the first segment completed we get a promt to talk to nada or the construct

The percent will go up. Right now their servers are clearly having issues. It's the weekend. Hello Games doesn't work over the weekend. People need to stop blowing baseless conclusions out of proportion. This type of mechanic isn't new with expeditions. There's likely a cap (which I pinned in #nms-expedition) just like there was with Leviathan. Moreover, Hello Games is very capable of addressing any issues there could be with the progression, especially if server connectivity issues have played a factor in the community not being attributed the credit it deserves. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to submit their issues and/or suggestions via the Zendesk. A few people have already done so. Give Hello Games some time to address the server issues, as well as any potential issues with progression. They're not some evil corporation lying to players to make them miserable.

Ouch. To reduce crashes, I do highly recommend disabling Multiplayer (if you haven't done so) and reloading the game. Also, try to submit this type of bug to HG in case there are any outstanding issues with the latest patches that rolled out.

Yeah, I also highly recommend submitting suggestions to HG to raise awareness about the problems we get with comm balls. Heck, even with bases. They should offer an option to disable other players' comm balls at the very least.

Yeah, it's not the way HG runs things. Especially based on a similar precedent like Leviathan which also had a dependency on community contributions. Not exactly the same. But very similar. Besides, there are bugs with every update, but HG is very proactive in trying to address them as quick as possible. I get some folks like speed running these events. But sh*t happens. We all have to learn to adjust accordingly (without freaking out). Besides, patience is a valuable life lesson to learn.

Yeah, this is similar to a community progress thing. This is also the third time they have done this. With the first time being with the near first set of expeditions and the dang myth beacon. HG knows how large the community is, so yeah 400 wouldn't leave a dent. With (let's use a conservative answer) hundreds of thousands of players, each can easily get 20-80 if they tried. You would need upwards of 4000+ to maybe see something. Hell, people saying it's on 11-14% now, that is an increase from when I last played. I played yesterday night, it was at 10%

It's not time base, it's community contribution based. It will take time as more people get to that milestone

Doign the 16 / 16 quest on the artemis Path and it keeps tellign me target in another system consult galawy map, and I feel liek I've warped realllllllly far now. But I keep following the "current mission" and it is sending me deeper not space.

Atlas is usually not all that clear, but from what you just said, I can tell you to have finished it. You can from now on basically ignore that quest. You should have received your reward. Focus on the other main story line if you have not done so already.

Hey, um, not sure if this is the best place to ask, but I have a concern about my gameplay path. I have been playing since April (Interceptor). Was told initially to focus on the Artemis path. I've completed that, and now I have the following 3 primary missions:

|| The Space Anomaly - Beyond the System? ||
|| The Purge - Reset the Simulation ||
I'm kinda worried about the "right" choices to make here.
I Know there's not really any wrong or right, but wanted to make sure I don't miss out on some options or in any way lose my progress.
The nms-help channel suggested I follow option 3. It looks like option 1 and option 3 may be tied together somehow, though. Should I complete one and not the other? What will I miss out on if I skip one or both?

Option 1 starts the Atlas Path quest, where you go from one Interface to another.

The one that Artemis quest finishes is either reset or walk away.

Beyond the system is also learning more about the Anomaly itself I believe
