Space Battles need an better IFF system. Here is why: [Suggestion]
For those who don't know: IFF = Identification Friend or Foe
Currently, NMS uses the ship trail colors as a IFF, where blue is the default for players, green for non-hostile NPCs, yellow for Squadron members, orange/red for Sentinel craft, and pink for Pirate ships.
Honestly, i don't like this. During non hostile ship encounters with NPCs, its feel very repetitive to see all of them using the exact same color of trail. Sentinel Craft is an exception for me, since they use a type of ship exclusive for them.
To get even worse, i sent to a friend a screenshot taken in Photo Mode during an space dogfight, showing many different ship trails. Since she is colorblind and wants really hard to play NMS, i asked her to show me how she see all that colors in the picture:

That is it, it would be almost impossible to her differentiate between a Friend and Foe spaceship, and this is very bad, since she could draw "unwanted attention" during combat. Maybe even the cockpit radar screen woudn't be enough to help her.
To get even worse, the target frames on the HUD are exactly the same for all ships, with no visual differences showing their aligment (excluding the actual ship trails), and only the selected target icon shows up. Wich is also bad. They should show up even with non-selected ships, but highlight the selected target, and had visual clues about their aligment, such as on games like Ace Combat.
