so as a newcomer, i have some questions [Question]
first off, i played about ~90min at my friends place on pc on a new savefile. and i gotta be honest, at first i wasnt convinced. the first 2 planets seemed kinda boring and empty and the controlls REALLY take time getting used to, but then i finally discovered the space station and i understood how massiv this game is. also my friend told me pretty much nothing, he was busy and said "just go with it, youll get into it" but i feel like for such a massive game, i would appreciate someone giving me a push in the right direction lol.
tbh im not even sure what im trying to ask but i guess
is the main focus of the game gathering ressources and upgrading your stuff?
how much traveling and interacting with "lost logs on planets/talking to ppl" do i have to do?
is there a story system or did i just play the "tutorial"?
why does everyone say this game is by far the biggest game ever made when the games size is like 15gb?
what other parts besides collecting ressources would you say is a key part of the game?
how long does it take for the game to get "easier"? obviously after ~90min you cant tell much, but the controlls and the amount of items/elements i found is just confusing and overwhelming
is there a way to see how much i have of something while crafting? so for example wood wall, takes 25 something(i alrdy forgot) but it just says 25/25. do i have to open my inventory to check how much i have in total?
its kinda hard putting into words, im a bit unsure about the game. i guess im just looking for "feedback" if i should get the game or not.
i loved botw and elden ring for their giant wordl, but imo elden ring >>>>>> botw because theres so much you can do in elden ring. botw felt kinda empty.
would you say nms is a game you recommend me?
