Always a treat when ya come across a real gem of a planet! In my personal experience, most of the paradise planets I've found tend to run hot. 90s to low 100s in the day. Here is high 60s during the day and mid 50s at night. Winner!

For sure. This is a new play through. Had a heck of a time getting a settlement to spawn here. Spent just over an hour save scumming before one finally spawned. And it's out at the far edge of the galaxy. A real out of the way locale. hehe

some of the constructions options available pre-Frontiers are now gone, so i'm still learning what's possible and musing on new techniques - but i think as a quick mock-up, we've got some promise. it'll be interesting trying to resize now un-resizable objects, and come up with new ways to rotate in the z-axis while maintaining size control.

Found a paradise planet that is full of adorable critters and diplos. Not a big fan of the overly brown grass, but otherwise Earth-like. Happy with my settlement elsewhere. So, just putting this out here for anyone that might want to drop a base or grab a settlement there.

Through exploration and tedious research, we have come to the conclusion that the most significant data provides only one explanation - Time Travel.

The gravitational anomalies we encounter throughout the No Man's Sky not only thrust you through the vast expanse of space, but simultaneously shift your position in time as well. It is highly likely that through this theory, the Traveller is displaced from their preset placement in the timeline, and placed (assumedly) at random someplace on it.
It is likely that through this theory, a Traveller may encounter differing iterations of visited galactic bodies, providing them some level of insight into the system's course in the past, present and eventual future.
With this, I figure Verdahn I. is actually represented as past or future iteration of the planet, and the system it inhabits alongside it. This is why many of its planetary bodies within the system share characteristics similar to their previously encountered iterations.
