A large herd of Ungulatis Xenofauna roaming the rocky, hot plains with a lone Tetraceris tagging along.

Unless accompanying the highly gregarious Ungulatis, the Tetraceris typically travel alone or in very loose groups in the more mineral rich areas. This surprisingly gives them an edge against the apex Tyranocae predator that preys upon the large herds by causing mass confusion and isolating their target.

The Tyranocae are the apex predators of the scorching plains, a fairly rare sight, they are careful and cunning predators with a surprisingly calm temperament towards other lifeforms that they don't recognise as prey. They are territorial towards one-another however, so it is nigh impossible to spot two together unless they are a mother and their young, young bachelors or a courting couple. They display a rather striking gender dimorphism, with the males being adorned with shoulder plates and striped hide.
