The auto-far depth of field is sometimes pretty decent, though it's often better off so the stars don't get blurred out

I tend to use DoF on night shots. The night sky images tend to be way too noisy, like someone cranked up the ISO setting.

The game can be very noisy in general on my ps4 at 1080p being upscaled to 4k on my tv (in sure on pc with AA and higher native res it's better)

Ueing txaa + fxaa doesn't help. The alternative is to use fxaa and bump up sharpness in your gpu settings but for me the noise it introduces is unbearable.

The first person view in round cockpit fighters gets noisey artifacts too on some of the glass, like the edges of the cockpit frames where it looks dusty/icy when you fly fast/pulse/whatever

@plain garden I think that's one of the stabilized glitches you find on glitch planets, the one from the pillars of light planets I think, and they have it clipped into the freighter nav globe somehow. I didn't think that room was buildable at all, but 🤷‍♀️

That is correct, its a glitch tucked in there, with very careful placement. Thought it made a nice display, I have a number of items on my bridge.

i have the same temp on my activated indium farm when there's a storm

jeez, my indium farms are on a toxic planet with storms every 3 minutes or so, can farm storm crystals till youre blue in the face lol

mine were just hurredly set up because i rushed my indium drives so i could get cash early game, but i didnt have toxic protection at the time and the frequent storms made it a nightmare, so theyre just wooden floor panels with the stuff on them

I was just trying to do the science terminal quest but my game decided the terminal (which doesn't exist) is in space. But for some reason there were all these little lights? Even in camera mode.
