Main thing for PD is to
always have 15 batteries, 15 life gel packs, minimum.
always be ready to bail if there's a bug and your ship gets stuck in terrain
buy at least one s class shield module asap, so you dont end up dead by tripping over your own feet.

My favorite challenge when it comes to NMS is the ever classic, No Starter Ship Challenge. Depending on how long a run goes you can get REAL comfy with the planet you start on.

That's fair, for me the challenge makes me play differently which is something I don't typically do. Every Damaged Machinery becomes a potential upgrade to keep you going on a search.

I went through the entire first half of base computer archives before resorting to it

And even when finding the location I still had to get there without using the starter ship

I usually just go for that Rapid Fire Burning plasma gun because it just does tick damage of burning to anything that I hit but the driving Blaster just charge that baby right up and I can usually one shot droids

There's two ways you can do it you can either disarm it or you can just straight out destroy it.

To disarm it go for the engines make sure you're inside of its shield and then blow up the engines then go around and destroy the seven guns on its top side and I'm talking about those big guns that are shooting a constant laser

That will disable it to where you can then go and collect money from it or take the Dreadnought over

The engines are in the back of the Dreadnaught there's three of them or pretty much let me rephrase. the thrusters

If you just want to outright destroy the Dreadnought then what do you want to do is pretty much pull a Star Wars on the Death Star and go through the two indent crevices to destroy the shield generators and then destroyed the heating core to take down the shield so you can then destroy the Dreadnought

The Shield generators were pretty much just look like giant spiky balls with electricity coming off them

You get a 20% chance of a Dreadnought attacking another ship no matter where you Warp to just some solar systems do seem to trigger it more than others but pretty much one out of five jumps you're going to be bumping into a dreadnought

Upgrade your Navigator Guild they give you a free Hyper warp drive just at level two that will fully fill up your warp drive engines

A navigator Guild is the Guild in a space station that has the compass above it it's not that hard to get levels for them hell you could even just donate items for them but they are a quick and easy source of getting a lot of free materials

Not a quick easy solution but upgrade your Navigators and 50% of the time they will usually be giving a storage ship upgrade but you do need to level them up pretty much to level 9 to be able to get that

Or just build a storage unit in the Corvette

Big missed opportunity, the desert biome added in Worlds Part II has beautiful sand textures for the ground that aren't found anywhere else but are always covered up by a ton of props cluttered around on top.

Echo locator will mark a camp, you need to go to that camp and find a terminal, terminal has a puzzle, solve it and then at the next warp your should trigger it.

Any dissonant planet. It will have "dissonance detected" on it's info card. any dissonant planet will have them, but only dissonant planets in inhabited systems will have camps. Additionally if planet has gold or rusted metal as resource it will also not have camps.
