Go to the panel in the starship all the way to the back right with your Corvette out as your main ship click the panel You can expand any slot and also increase its class if that's what you're talking about It doesn't matter about parts when it comes to this part

If I'm remembering right, when that expedition last ran there wasn't an expedition terminal. No way to transfer anything except the rewards. They just didn't have to think about it and haven't had to since either. Unless it's specifically tagged as not allowed, packaged tech can be transferred. There's a few things I package and bring with me every expedition

If you're not good at math ask AI to give you planetary glyphs and specific locations and it'll mathematically give them to you This game isn't as random as most people would think most core functions are pretty predictable

I usually only pick out the ones that I would wind up doing anyway. Lots of the scan ones require too much, while "kill x creatures" gets done the very next Abandoned hive of lil monsters I find.

I have insane bonuses on my scanner, so I tend to scan animals anyways, while trying to look for near perfect ones to adopt..
feeding/killing them is also easy because I do the above
