the civilians offer their ship for saving them

and the pirates offer them when they cant jump to escape and are low

One thing that I love about the cube rooms is that certain technology pieces, at least the batteries, solar panels, and generators, will clip to them perfectly, 4 to each floor, so they're always aligned. Other people have probably noticed this too but solar panels don't actually need to be in sunlight to work, so I've got a bunch of walled off cube room sub basements filled with solar panels and batteries to power my bases.
