I realize this is going to sound super nooby, but just starting to get into NMS. I'm still in Euclid Galaxy, and taking my time jumping around and having fun. Some of the other players I see rolling around have some really sick looking "Exotic" ships. Are there ways in which you can get them in game play? Is it happenstance, or quest based, etc?

Outlaw systems are meant to be a wild card, I guess. Rich systems will have a lot of B and A classes and some S. Outlaw systems have predominantly C class, but there are more S classes than in rich systems. I think that it's similar to the general tendency X-class modules have; most of them are trash, but some of them are better than their S-class counterparts.

Or you can do with 90% of the group did take those pellets and dupe them but I don't do that I don't do anything besides orbital uplink and I just usually carry one on me for glitching purposes because I glitch through freighters all the time and I have to waste long parts of my game again and go through it so instead I just use that and it's been working pretty well cuz I fall through stuff a lot lol

You can find specialized groups online cuz I do know it depends on where you upgrade it and there is some patterns on places that you can go through portals through forums online that you'll get better space upgrades and different things like that for your spaceships and guns I personally have never got that deep into it

I started on relaxed, switched to Normal after a couple days. The low inventory limits and high prices on the higher difficulties annoyed me.

Going from 9999 to 500 (?) was a killer

unfortunately I'm 90% sure performance would be found dead in a ditch if that was true, since the game would have to make sure things are position accurate

like yeah, it is just dots in the sky, but there's a ton that goes into making sure their location is correct to where you're at on the planet

Not if they made it stationary as a skin for the background and added a wrap around each star with that data in it that already used existing math It could probably be done pretty easily I'm not going to lie without ruining computer speed just my opinion

Definitely would be a lot of data needing to be pulled when looking up at the sky on a planet if they were the same.

Oh for sure for clustered areas that are really condensed but what I've learned with this game they have it down packed with really good algorithms that do the stuff pretty fast Like I'm amazed by it to be honest This is the only game that kind of uses a lot of different things cuz they had to build it personally for this game

IMO its more like a lightbulb that orbits the planet, with the way you can reposition the sun in photomode.

Useful for taking screenshots of ships and such at night when you want to see what they look like better.
