Something that I have learned while driving the Colossus: sinkholes and caves you don’t anticipate are some of the worst things you can drive into. Even worse if you are holding a bunch of specialist trash from a waste heap. If you are unlucky enough to end up driving near one, the next thing you know it, the vehicle it’s so heavy the brakes barely do anything, and then the next thing you know what you’re picking up everything from deep down in a cave.
I’m gonna have to try this with the furnace chassis, but from what I read in the game tooltip, you don’t get as much value out of it.

When you look at the discovery page for the planet, or are scanning it from space, it will tell you the list of mineral deposits that the planet has.
The gas that will be available will always be oxygen, but might also have sulphurine (desert/hot planets), radon (ice/radioactive), or nitrogen (grass, poison).

quartzite is only used for a few technologies; otherwise it's useful to refine into chromatic, but there's a lot of chances to get chromatic elsewhere too.

can't be prevented. We learn to work around it. So building in existing caves if you want an underground lair, or building slightly above ground to prevent base being terrained up.

Later in the game, you're going to have so much of these things stored up that you'll never really need to search.

A little bit more information as I continue to break the new xeno pet thing, My pet (blob) I started at lvl 1 and I broke the level system to give it a lvl of 30 million, the next thing I did was give it unlimited mutation stats then I broke the class system turning it from c class to S class, I’ve also found something spicy to essentially give it super powered attack and super health so you can just use 1 pet (if you wish) to win a fight of 3.. or god tier all of them!!! Next video I will release all the footage I have on how this is done. Whilst this seems like a fair bit it still seems I can push this even further so I may make more videos on the topic if I make any further progress. Until the next video stay legendary.
