Every ship type has it's advantages and disadvantages

Corvettes are fully customizable but start as C class

Solar(the A class you found) are fast, easy to use cheap ships with well rounded stats, but they have low storage slots

Sentinels are not as fast but still easy to use and better all rounded stats and a lot of storage capacity.

Haulers are big and bulky and can be found commonly in Gek systems, they have strong shields and a lot of storage and tech slots but are slow

Explorers are small ships common in Korvax systems, they consume less resources and have high hyperdrive range, but other stats are sub-par

Fighters(like the starting radiant pillar) are found in Vy'keen systems the most, they are fast and can dish out a LOT of damage but are a bit costly on the launch thrusters

Exotics have good all rounded stats and look weird. They are very rare and always in S class.

Living Ships are organic ships you can get by buying the void egg in the anomaly, it uses natural resources like carbon and chromatic metals and are always in S class, but they have their own sets of upgrades.

So, the harmonic camp where you found the ship's coordinates(it even has a free multitool for you) is not a one time use, you can go back to it after claiming the ship and use the terminal again to find another sentinel ship. This is how we farm for A or S class sentinel ships.

I use both the ballista and the ejector because I can fire them at the same time. The ballista slows down the targets and the ejector finishes them.
