Extractors and a bunch of storage results in significantly fewer base parts used, so I can allocate them to base building.

I also build mineral farms either way, so I might as well get extra mileage out of them that way, and I have a giant oxygen farm.

I used to process gases by refining because it uses less gas at the cost of just salt, but it doesn't matter in the end since my farms make more than enough.

I never made alloys in refiners since that uses tritium, which cannot be so easily farmed amd would get in the way of scaling up my operation.

No...you can do that in less than an hour from starting the game...complete fauna scans on a planet in 10 minutes for some nanites, get out of the starting system, buy advanced mining laser blueprint and literally any hyperdrive modules for a bit of warp range and another 10 minutes to get an interceptor...that takes no time at all. That is NOT the end of the early game. You can do that in no time before ANY quest progress or anything else.

The only thing that sucks is you can't have an overwhelming advantage in combat...if your pet is super strong against an enemy then that enemy's attacks are still stronger than normal against your pet. Maybe future unique pets from seasonal rewards will give us some unusual pets with attacks that are insanely strong against enemies whose attacks are weak against it...that type of overwhelming advantage would be amazing.

Yeah but seeing a physical based attack in the strong attack slot is very weird...physical based attack is no good...it is not strong against anything...also not weak but let's be real most of the time you want to be strong vs weak.

Good thing about Oceanus reward pets is I think they are all SSS...or at least 4 out 5 I can look at now are. Bad thing, two are mechanical based pets....bro, I do not need two of the same type before I have one of all 8 types. So they work on bug fixes and try to push them out, some platforms take longer to certify and update, sometimes there could be some technical problems etc etc, we don't really know what, how or why. Only people who would have some idea would be the devs and whoever is responsible for certifying the update
