It's possible he save edited the pet to be SSS class, but those ARE discoverable in the wild, and even a CBA pet can fight well if it's got the right skillset.

That’s less of a bug and more of a design function of the beams…

all projectiles are firerate capped. Phase beam has a quirk bc it has no actual physical projectile

So it can fire all of its phase beam cannons at once with no firerate cap.

My titan worm is kind of an all-rounder, but is clearly gonna be one of the highest stats on my registry.
My primary mechanical, Caratelle, a robot antelope, is a bit of a glass cannon.
I should give a proper name to my tropical strider, but it is an... iceberg, I think is the term? High health, ramps up damage as they continue the fight.
Kimiki, a radioactive lizard-dog, is the odd-one-out, though she is currently shaping up to be another all-rounder

Gentle creatures have a tendency to lower their attack power, while aggressive creatures can sometimes use an extra attack without being ordered to

Ooh, at first I kinda figured that aggression would be sought out in battle companions, but I realized that it can trigger an attack that also debuffs itself

And you wouldnt be able to stop it
