A lot of others feel like a money printer for a company, this feels like a long running project that gets things added that are new ways to test the game engine.

Honestly for me combat would be solved by simply adding another difficulty modifier above „challenging“ as an option, which buffs enemy health and damage by like 50%.

The issue with combat is that we just get way too op way too easily. The enemies don‘t scale well enough to balance this out, so a setting in the image of for example Witcher 3’s „Death March“ is needed to combat this. Usually not a fan of the higher damage and bullet spongie approach, but with the AI we have not much more can be done.

Well… kinda? RDR wasnt an established franchise so its easier to use it to test new stuff for your popular franchise of games. RStar did this with LA Noire as well. We’re currently seeing kinda the opposite, all the testing for LNF mechanics is being done in an established game

I did Breach two times now; my first run was the official redux but on a seperate save, and I REALLY wanted those arcadia logs on my main save.

This marathon was partly lore-driven tbh, I could have skipped out on the few I already did, but since then I learned so much more about the lore, I was hoping to put things into context better.

And I really like having all of the unique expo items stored on my main save now, even was able to bring over the singularity engine via the terminal

And copy over the Cartographers Exotic which has a bunch of unique tech

Just hoping all of this stuff won‘t cause eventual bugs down the line lol, but I kept tons of backups of my save so all should be fine.
