The bouncing is better in the latest update on experimental. Not sure if that's in the last public update or not. The cargo used to hit each other and amplify the effects, eventually causing everything to jump. Now the impact force decreases with each impact instead of increases

How new to the game are you?
I'd just recommend following the main storyline for now, you'll learn more as you go along.
And as for finding a freighter.
You probably found a Reddit thread along the lines of "go to this system to get a guaranteed S Class Freighter".
I'd just say keep playing the game, you'll find freighters eventually, mainly by defending them from space pirates.
Just as a word of caution:
The first freighter you get is always free (as a reward for you saving their lives)
But any new freighter will cost at least a few million credits, so keep that in mind.
It's why the Reddit thread suggests jumping to a specific system, to make sure the First freighter you get offered is a very good one.

I started a few days ago and gotten really into it, one thing that im just itching to get is a sentinal med or large, A or S class freighter, I have been launching myself into different 3 star systems or pirate systems for 2 hours and not seen a single sentinal freighter.

I made the same mistake as you.
You can only encounter a Dreadnaught aka Pirate Freighter, after you've already gotten a normal freighter via the regular rescue missions.

that's not correct. if it would not be linear progression in case of the las task of a specific phase the game would mark all of them completed at once after you complete it at the first time. it's linear because the game only counts them after you completed the "go to the next waste" location task

so we must do it in linear

There is a certain kind of terrain feature that is kind of like a canal but without the water. They are nice and smooth to drive on, so if you can find one you can use it as a road in the expedition.

I have looked everywhere for a soloution but on my laptop and on my steam deck both now, the game plays fine for 30 minutes then stutters every 10 seconds. I just want to play the expedition and the only way I can play now is on my Switch, which is sad because that thing is ancient at this point.

You never have to spend your quicksilver, just have enough to purchase the items
Buy the item from the dude and then reload your autosave from exiting the ship, Quicksilver is still in your inventory but items can be claimed from the dude free

I don't have FSR enabled on laptop or deck. I've lowered all the graphics settings as low as they will go and capped FPS at 30. Nothing works.

The Index and og PSVR had two things going for them: Comfort.

The PSVR2 is pretty much perfect for gaming and even availible for PC at this point, but it‘s just such a slog to wear.

Honestly it‘s probably better this way, I would likely not be able to return to flatscreen gameplay after really getting used to VR.
