I have been watching this channel now for a couple of days, and the negativity about the expedition is astounding. Remember people - You don't need to do it. If you don't like driving around a planet all day - Don't. If you are running into bugs that aren't fixed - Wait till they are. If this update is giving you all this much stress, maybe go outside and hug a tree, or atleast don't run the expedition right now. Personally I am waiting until next week when things calm down. You can try a new Expedition save if that's what you wanna play, or even an easy Creative save, just to try it. But I wouldn't spend much time on it if it crashes again in a new save. Like I said before, personally I prefer to hold off for hot-fixes. I don't enjoy dealing with bugs.

Updates can quite commonly corrupt a save due to something in the update missing a line of code which was present in the previous version, it sounds like the thing missing is in relation to your corvette, the code isn’t present in your old save because you haven’t yet built the corvette, but a patch can re add that missing code which fixes the save
